best breakfast burrito of my life! fresh, bright, not too heavy. Highly recommend! Enjoyed my meal next to a beautifully cared for garden and table set up they have in the back. Thanks!
Food and service were pretty disappointing. Food was bland, on a positive fish wasn’t fishy, however as a whole, the fish taco was overwhelmingly disappointing and lacked flavor. Salsa tasted more like marinara sauce, then fresh salsa. Service was awkward, felt as if we were an inconvenience for ordering food. Was excited to try this truck out, but unfortunately will not recommend and will not be eating there again
I’ll admit this gently. I don’t quite have the palate for Mexican food. But my family does, and El Coyote Mexican Food is the place they keep coming back to again and again.
The cheerful turquoise track is in the same spot, easy to find, and there are almost always people around. That steady presence says a lot. A small line forms, orders move along, and no one seems disappointed walking away. I see people wearing working clothing, sometimes pajamas, some in office suits – all together enjoying nice meal at the table or happily carrying it to the cars. Says a lot, ha?
From what I see and hear at our family table, – the portions are generous, the food is very satisfying, and it delivers exactly what people expect. Nothing complicated, just consistent and dependable in a way that clearly works.
Even without a personal craving for this style of food, it’s easy to recognize when a place is doing something right. This one is.
Stopped in for a meal to take away and eat at home. Wanted something quick yet tasty, drove by and pulled in. We caught them just before closing time, and El Coyote hooked it up! They recommended food, loaded is up and we had a great meal to pair with our wines we smashed from the vineyard! The burrito was huge, the nachos were Cali influenced, and the fish tacos were on point. Would not hesitate if your looking for a quick bite, and their prices beat the going restaurant rates, good meal to take home!
I’m finding more and more that these small food trucks have great food. The same quality you will find in a fancy restaurant but without the high price or fancy dining. I went with the chicken quesadilla and it was great. Friends went with tacos and a burrito and they also loved it. Stop here for a quick bite to go or stay and eat and the tables they have next to the truck.
