Like amazing tasting food ? Like great salsa ? Hate when the food takes a while to get to you at other restaurants? Then go HERE. Also you can see them cooking which is always a nice touch. You know its fresh and delicious.

Nice fresh tacos. Tortillas were soft and fresh. Asada cut in decent sizes. They have grande tacos that include beans however i went with the standard. The red sauce is a little spicy but good flavor. The green sauce is also pretty good, non spicy.
They serve Pepsi products. Parking here could be a challenge. Several businesses all competing for the same space so if you can do take out i would suggest. They do offer chips & salsa at the table for less than $5.

Im so excited for my leftovers.. mouth is watering just thinking about this meal. So much flavor packed! Ladies are lovely with a genuine smile on their faces! It was a last min decision to get enchiladas over chilaquiles, but our server recommended and I would too! Thank you for the lovely experience.. with a full-stacked menu like that, there is something to fit everyones needs!

We recently moved here and wanted to find a good Mexican place nearby. We tried this restaurant and it was empty. Even though it wasn’t busy it took them long to get our dish which was already ready (we can see it as the chef was preparing and putting it out as done) – took them forever to notice and bring it to us. We had to call them and see to check if that’s our food. Sauces seem store bought and they charge for chips and salsa. Based on the prices – the quantity and quality isn’t really that great. Our search continues.

Been visiting Dona Maria for a few years. It is not the best Tex-Mex around but is better than 80% of the Mexican restaurants in the area. I would recommend the Chili Verde. Spicy but not over the top hot. The rest of the menu is good to very good.
Portions are on the large side. Prices are in line with the area. I have noticed that pricing for all restaurants are rising and Dona Maria is no exception.
Service is spotty. Sometimes it is fantastic and others, down right terrible. I guess that the spotty service is why it is not a 5star.
Another visit on 5/7/22. They have remodeled the interior. It is now bright and shiny. The food is still very good. Prices have risen to the new normal of the South Bay Area.
