Great market with good deli sandwiches and wide variety of all kinds of snacks, drinks, meats, fresh veggies and some “hardware” store vibes. Also some fishing gear which is great if you need a couple things before you head out on Bodega bay

Beware! Always ask for your receipt at the store when paying with a credit card and check your receipt to see if the cashier charged you for “ grocery non-taxable” and then at the bottom of the receipt after the balance due it shows where he “cash” you back the money with your my case was five dollars that he didn’t cash me back because I didn’t ask for Cash back. It’s a dirty little trick. They do to steal money from your credit card. I have uploaded the pictures of the receipts to show you what I mean, one picture is of where the cell took place and shows you where he took the money I circled it. The other receipt is where he credited it back to my card. Once I realize what he had done and called him out on it he wasn’t going to give me a receipt until I had to ask for it he knew exactly what he was doing and there’s no telling how many people he does this to a day. The food is great here and I used to always eat lunch here when I came to bodega, but after this, I will never be back to the store and I told him that too. All he did was just kept apologizing. The only thing he was sorry for was that he got caught beware of this place. Just for clarification. I only purchased two things at this store so it should’ve only been two items on the receipt where you clearly see that it shows three items the third item being the non taxable grocery where he charged me the five dollars and and then shows he cashed it back at the end of the sale.

Great selection of goods including fishing and camping gear. Great grocery selection. Great beer and booze selection. Really good sandwiches made. Good deli selection.

Buyer beware. This business is dishonest and significantly overprices its merchandise.

I attempted to return a completely unused item the very next day after purchasing it, and the return was refused. The owners claimed they had a “no returns” policy, but the only sign was posted high up on a distant wall where customers would not reasonably notice it. There was also nothing on the receipt or at the register stating that all sales were final or that returns and exchanges were not accepted.

The customer service was equally disappointing. The manager ignored our concerns, and the owners were rude and dismissive. Based on my experience, they do not appear to understand or follow California’s consumer disclosure requirements regarding return policies.

I disputed the charge with my credit card company, which promptly reviewed the situation and credited the transaction back to my account.

This is one of those stores that’s deceptive, in that from the outside, it looks small, once you go inside, it packs more than you think it would.

It really is an all-purpose store with all kinds of sundries, food items, fresh veggies, wine and drinks and all sorts of stuff.

In stopping here, we were in search for panko and brie cheese. Yep, they had ’em and I was kind of skeptical at first if they’d have them. It was another one of those times I was glad to be proven wrong.

So whether you’re in the area for a day-trip, a picnic, camping or moteling, this is a reliable place should you need something.

Oh, and there’s a dedicated parking lot for the store as well.
