The food looked great, but it tasted bland. There was no seasoning at all, and the dishes lacked character. I had high hopes for this place, so it was quite disappointing.

On Saturday, 4/11/26, we dined at Danviile Harvest for brunch.

We made a reservation for 3 people at 230 pm. The restaurant wasn’t packed at all. There was plenty of seating available. I really liked the layout and look of the restaurant. They have outdoor and indoor dining with a nice bar setup. From the tables to the chairs, everything inside of the restaurant looked high-end. The open kitchen looked really nice too. The decor was nice and complimented the overall look of the restaurant very well.

Now on to the food. We ordered 7 dishes. The Cinnamon Roll and Banana Bread with chocolate chips came out first. The Cinnamon Roll was delicious! It was topped with fresh berries and a caramel sauce. The Cinnamon Roll tasted baked to order. The texture was spot on. It was soft and airy. The flavor of the Cinnamon Roll was really good. It’s a must order. The Banana Bread with chocolate chips was okay. It came with a side of whipped butter which was not wasted. The next 2 dishes that came out were the Cheddar Biscuits with a side of jam and butter and the Hush Puppies with a side of Chipotle mayo. The Cheddar Biscuits had good flavor. They were a little on the dense side but still tasted good. The jam and butter complimented the Biscuits very well. The Hush Puppies are a must order. The flavors were excellent. They were crispy on the outside but soft in the inside and had the perfect chew. They had a nice honey drizzle to enhance the flavors even more. The Chipotle mayo was delicious. The last 3 dishes that came out were the mini donuts, Sourdough Stack French Toast topped with berries and the the Chicken and Waffles with maple syrup. The mini donuts were okay. They came with a chocolate dipping sauce and a butterscotch infused dipping sauce. The chocolate was too overpowering and the butterscotch sauce was descent. The donuts were dusted with sugar and a few other spices. It was a descent dish. The Sourdough French toast was really good and just as good as the Cinnamon Roll. The French Toast was topped with fresh berries and whipped cream. The French toast was super dense but tasted so good! It had the perfect texture and chew to it. I highly recommend this dish. The Chicken and Waffles were good. The Waffles were fresh and cooked perfectly. The chicken was a breast and a leg. The chicken was cooked nicely and had good flavor. The maple syrup was mellow and brought the whole dish together.

The service was great! Our waitress was very nice, had a great friendly attitude and the food came out fairly quickly which we liked. It was a great dining experience overall.

I highly recommend dining at Danviile Harvest. If you want great food, great service and a great atmosphere, Danville Harvest is the place for you!

I can’t wait to go back and try a bunch of dishes from their dinner menu!

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review — Harvest

Harvest delivers comfort food done right, with elevated flavors and a warm, neighborhood feel. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting—perfect for a relaxed dinner, date night, or catching up with friends.

The food really shines. The braised short ribs are the standout: incredibly tender, rich, and full of flavor, paired beautifully with creamy polenta and seasonal vegetables. The horseradish-crusted salmon is cooked perfectly—crisp on the outside, moist inside—with balanced, clean flavors. Starters like the shrimp lettuce cups are fresh, light, and thoughtfully plated, making them great for sharing.

Presentation is polished without being pretentious, and every dish feels intentional. Portions are generous, ingredients taste fresh, and the menu offers something for everyone—from hearty mains to lighter, gluten-free and vegetarian options.

Service is friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe makes you want to linger a little longer. Harvest is the kind of place you come back to, whether you’re celebrating something special or just want consistently good food.

We wandered in for a late lunch and were so glad we did. Their happy hour is excellent — great deals on both drinks and small bites. The patio is spacious and shaded with big umbrellas and string lights, while the inside is just as charming with warm, stylish details. The whole place smelled amazing when we walked in.

The menu is fresh and California-inspired, with plenty of healthy options alongside heartier dishes. We loved the variety — from shrimp lettuce wraps and crab cakes to salads, sliders, and seasonal plates. Cocktails are creative and well-balanced, and the wine list has a thoughtful mix of local and international picks.

Danville Harvest is the perfect spot whether you’re looking for a relaxed happy hour or a full meal. We’ll definitely be back.
