The service was great. We felt very welcomed. The portions are generous and very delicious. We’ll definitely be going again and again.

The refried beans were a little too salty and the ground beef tacos had an odd taste to me, but other than that I enjoyed the meal.
The rellenos were very good. Best I’ve had in Fresno so far. The batter coating was just the right thickness and fluffed up nicely. Not thick or heavy like all the other places I’ve tried.
Good, friendly service. House salsa was fresh and spicy. Portion size in line with the price.
I’m already looking forward to my next trip for the rellenos.

I have lived in Fresno majority of my life. I have passed by Castillos so many times. This was my first time here and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed. Authentic Mexican food, great taste and flavor and the waitress was very attentive and accommodating for our party of 5. The only down side was I ordered the chili colorado plate and the portion was very small with alot of sauce. It tasted great meat was very tender and flavor was good. Just wish the portion of beef was slightly more. Unfortunately the food was so good I forgot to take pictures only had a pictures of our logo box but believe me when I say it’s a must try.

Today was great we got half carne asada and half chili Verde
Fries so good.

The plates are 3 item combos
Chili relleno , enchilada and a ground beef taco
The other plate is 1 enchilada and 2 tacos

I love this place but when I called to place and order the girl said she “thinks” the torta comes with some ingredient. I needed to be sure because I don’t like onions. Then she tells me 20
Minutes but my food was ready quickly. Had I waited it would have been cold. Almost $3 for the sour cream on the side? The girl said she put it on the side and not extra charge but no she didn’t. No cheese on my beans and two pieces of avocado was disappointing. The young girl at the register could be more friendlier but the meat was good.
