The food, especially the carne asada, is honestly the main reason I keep coming back. The quality of the meat is great and it’s one of my favorite places for that reason alone.
Unfortunately, the customer service has consistently been disappointing. The older man working behind the counter always seems irritated and uninterested in helping customers. I’m not expecting anyone to be my best friend, but basic courtesy goes a long way. A simple greeting, a smile, or asking questions like how much meat I’d like or whether the seasoning amount is okay would make a huge difference.
Instead, it often feels like there’s no effort to communicate with customers, and orders are prepared based on assumptions rather than what the customer actually wants. The overall attitude comes across as rude and unwelcoming.
It’s disappointing because the food is so good, but the customer service experience makes me think twice about returning. I hope management addresses this, because great food deserves better customer service.
Customer service great ordered 11 dozen tamales 8 lbs rice a week in advance food was great staff loved it. Also my family buys food from here all the time. So good
I wish I could give them more stars because I do love the Meat there. I was going every week to week in a half to get the carne asada since I food prep, but the lady who works back there is always mean to me. When my husband goes in the service is a little better and feel it’s because he is Hispanic. I have asked him a couple times to go for me since I don’t like how she is always rude to me. I will always say hello and I am polite. I notice the difference in the way she treats me to other customers because I went so much.
I even asked if she could cut my meat for me and she gave me a dirty look and said it’s already thin enough. The other guy who works there was nice and told her yes they can cut it for me.
Everyone else is super nice and again the food is amazing. Wish that lady who prepped the meat enjoyed her job because to me she hates it there.
