Stopped for lunch with my son. We ordered inside and found a table in the outdoor area which was very pleasant. Food was brought out to us. My salad with salmon was delicious and fresh. My son enjoyed his burrito.

Cantina @ San Benito House is another fantastic restaurant in this walking town of Half Moon Bay. Service was attentive and friendly. You walk in, get a menu, order you food and drinks at the bar, and find a seat in the rustic inside outside bar seating. Food came quickly as we found our seats outside enjoying the sun, weather, and amazing drinks. The drinks were fantastic, the margaritas were fantastic, extremely well balanced, very flavorful and an amazing taste!
Nowni dont typocally like Mexican food because it is usually flavorless and bland. But here at the Cantina, WOW! The tortilla chips made fresh in house were of the hook! Fresh crisp, yet melted in your mouth and the guacamole was amazing, well balanced flavors, and not the usual baby scoop you get at every other place, a huge double scoop ice cream size, enough and then some for all of the chips, and the salsa was perfection.
The Coastal Clam Chowder… growing up in the North East chowder was a main stay, but this chowder when it says “perfect combination of cram and smoke” they aren’t kidding. It was the perfect combination of clams, potatoes, bacon that made the combination of all the ingredients just pop! The Quesadulla Suiza… well damn it was that good! The carne asada was workd class, full flavor and all of the ingredients were extremely flavorfull and well balanced. Truly something to brag about!
If you like mexican food, give this place a try. We will definately be going back!

San Benito house is THE SPOT for the most memorable Half Moon Bay experience, it is a must visit for the atmosphere and food. Tuesday or not the vibe is a mix of local, family, tourists, and all ages; it is a great place for any night of the week rain or shine. They have amazing outdoor seating and service, even a fire pit! You need to try the salmon tacos and the churro bites, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu
Jordan, the manager, is so kind and genuinely welcoming. He make sure everyone feels taken care of and since he’s been here we have been coming every week. He brings such a positive energy to the place. Olivia the bartender is also such a funny and warm person! We always look forward to chatting with her and they both are awesome and keep us coming back

I had the Mission Style chicken burrito and it was absolutely amazing! Such great flavors! The Catina margarita is also delicious and refreshing! The outdoor area is also great to sit and enjoy the delicious food and drinks.

We love coming to San Benito when we’re in town. Great food and drinks. We especially like the outdoor seating with its open air feel. Just beware of the patrons who find the place appropriate to vent their political views for more than their table mates to hear. Such an unwanted black eye.
