This used to be my parent’s property. They lived in the white house on the cliff south of it. They never blocked it from anyone. I’m wondering if the rope is still there? I loved that area and miss visiting her in the house. They sold it a couple of years ago.
So neat to see, just make sure the tide is in when you go, lol. You have to walk through the cemetery to see the blow hole, so be courteous of the cemetery.
Definitely something special to see in this area. It’s amazing how the ocean has carved out this hole to transport the ocean water into the forest. The hole has its own fauna and it’s really interesting. However the place is hard to find and be carful not to drop over the edge. We parked on the other side of A1 and walked through the old cemetery. Don’t miss the dramatic view over the ocean. I’ve nerved seen anything like this before.
We had no idea what to expect when people said, “just go through the cemetery”, but I was hoping for a blowhole. It’s actually through the cemetery! But not quite a blowhole. There are some historical placards there and on a sunny day, I’d imagine it’s the best sunbathing spot! I would not suggest the walk down for families with young (under age 5) children since it’s steep.

It’s a challenge to climb down to the water via ropes.
Remember leaves of 3, let it be. I’m still scratching
