As locals have supported Astorgas for decades. It was quite popular. After their remodel and new bar we were excited to see the changes since there is still plywood on windows. Hate to disparage hard working businesses but when I saw the terrible review by some other guest which mimicked ours, I decided Astorgas needs a wake up. Service terrible but I assumed it was from lack of staff but when we left she was relaxing with the other guys and the owner and another man was in the kitchen. All the tables are sticky and I wonder how they can be cleaned. The paint on the walls are horribly peeling and the restrooms are much worse, peeling plaster etc. Been like that for years! Food mediocre and chips not good. Sorry about bad review.

Stopped here as we were checking out the area and were glad we stopped here. Seating is both inside and outside. Service was at the table. The outside area is big and not crowed.
We order margaritas, check out the difference in size from regular to larger. The large is massive!
We ordered a chicken burrito with green sauce and the taco and enchilada combination. Portions were large and food was great. Very authentic!
If you’re in the area highly recommend stopping for a taste of real Mexican food!.

We’ve been passing by this place for years, always wanting to give her a try so we finally did and were pleasantly surprised! You know it’s gonna be good food if the chips are crispy and fresh and the salsa is tangy and chilled. My Dos Equis was muy frio and the food…Que Sabor! Super yummy food here. We’ll be back!

We had the Taco Bowl and the “Mexican Tacos” (street tacos). They were good but the salsa was REALLY good. I would’ve liked to have brought some of that home!
They must’ve been pretty shorthanded bc our orders were both wrong but to be fair, the poor guy that was working the cash register also stepped in as hostess, busboy and server. And the manager made every effort to make us happy.
The place was in the middle of remodeling so it should look nice later. We’ll try them again another time.

This place has a full parking lot every time we drive by so we decided to stop and check it out.
OMG! Our food was so good and our waitress, Maria, was very attentive.
We had the ground beef taco pizza and the chili relleno/chicken enchilada combo.
My husband NEVER cleans his plate at a Mexican restaurant, today he did. We will be back!
