Dropped by Sunday evening. It was pretty busy so things came.out pretty slowly but staff were friendly and helpful. Fried pickle app was good but would be better as chips rather than spears. They came out hot so if you take a bite, you risk very hot juices hitting your face.

Taco salad is delicious but HUGE. Mac and cheese reminded us of Kraft, and the BBQ flatbraed was yummy!

Bummed they were out of woody brown beer but figured it out.

Woody Brewing Company was fantastic! The beer was great, the food was even better, and the portions definitely don’t disappoint.
I ordered the blue burger with a side of the beer mac, and wow… it was absolutely delicious. The beer mac was rich, cheesy, and the perfect side to the burger. The portion size was massive! I almost always finish my meals, but this was one of the rare times I couldn’t—and that’s saying something.
Great atmosphere, great food, great beer, and excellent value for the money. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area!

Just had lunch at one of the BEST places in town and unfortunately had never been to before. Woody’s Brewing Company was AMAZING!!! I literally had a smile on my face while I ate my food. Was the best EVER!!! Their homemade Woody’s Tots were quite unexpected and delicious!! Along with their homemade sauces!! 20 out of 10 ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
ALSO!!! Their samplers of beer were so good we had to bring some home!! Check them out and support local. Service was outstanding and prices were great as well.

If you’re looking for a family-friendly brewery with great food and some of the best beer in Redding, California, Woody’s Brewing Company should absolutely be on your list.

This was our second visit, and it was every bit as good as the first. The atmosphere is welcoming and inviting, with an eclectic mix of music that offers a little something for everyone. Heather took care of us and was incredibly attentive throughout our visit.

The food portions are huge—you definitely won’t leave hungry. The Beer Mac is outstanding. Imagine the rich beer cheese you’d get with a great soft pretzel, poured over perfectly cooked noodles. Our son ordered the chicken strips, fries, and a side of Beer Mac. He’s an extremely picky mac-and-cheese eater, but he cleaned the entire bowl. The chicken strips were made with real chicken breast, not processed “nugget strips,” and the steak fries were perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and fluffy inside.

I ordered the Smokehouse Burger and added avocado. Spend the extra couple dollars—it was absolutely worth it. The smoky flavor combined with the fresh avocado was fantastic. My husband ordered the tater tots with cheese and garlic, which were packed with flavor.

As for the beer, Woody’s is refreshing because it isn’t just IPA after IPA after IPA. They have plenty of options for IPA lovers, but also a fantastic variety of lagers, wheats, reds, pilsners, brown ales, and more. We ordered a sampler flight and tried Lake Day, Whiskey Town Wheat, Sir Irish Red Ale, 837 German Pilsner, Raspberry Wheat, Nutty Woody English Brown Ale, and Belgian White Ale. Every beer was excellent, but Lake Day and the 837 German Pilsner were our favorites. In fact, we loved them so much that we bought 20 cans to take on an upcoming camping trip to Diamond Lake, Oregon.

The photos show just a small sample of what makes Woody’s special—the extensive craft beer selection, welcoming brewery atmosphere, summer food specials, and convenient beer-to-go options. We also noticed their Wednesday special with $4 off growler fills, which is a great deal.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through Redding, Woody’s Brewing Company is one of the best brewery restaurants in Northern California. Great beer, great food, generous portions, attentive service, and a truly family-friendly atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.

Great variety of beers. I had a raspberry wheat, a nut brown, a porter and a chocolate cherry Stout. The raspberry wheat had just the right amount of raspberry. The porter was pretty good. The chocolate cherry Stout was a unique and tasty dessert beer.
They have home made tater tots with a variety of toppings. We had the andouille sausage and sauerkraut with an aioli sauce. We also have the blue cheese and bacon. They were both excellent.
The wait staff was very busy but very friendly and attentive. Our waiter, Gage, took good care of us and helped me narrow my sampler selections, and recommended the andouille tater tots.
I will definitely be returning to try other food and beer pairings.
