This place was great! Local and right in the middle of town! Lots of wildlife, quiet nights, beautifull views. Had an AMAZING stay here. Definately coming back.

Two day layover traveling from the Valley to Ferndale. Need to book in advance for weekend stays. Great views. Friendly staff. Lots of birds and bugs. It’s nature for sure. Watch for ticks and mosquitoes. No problems getting in/out with a 34’ class A. It was concerning running the AC’s with all the dog wood stuff in the air. Once a breeze came through it went away.
Lots of options for food within walking distance. If you have kids I highly recommend the wonderful city park across the street. It also offers great views of the lake. We stayed at the end of June and the lake was green; I would recommend staying out of the water.
Not a resort but a nice day or so stop over or good base camp for fishing and exploring the area. Some visitors has bass boats pulled right up to shore in the small cove.

We stayed here for the 4th of July and had the best time. Campground was packed but everyone was kind and accommodating. We had perfect view of the fireworks on the lake. The bathrooms and campgrounds were clean and they have big area where people set up waterslides and corn hole for everyone to enjoy. April is an amazing host and was very helpful. We will be returning.
The Handyman Journey
This was a great place! We were passing through and it was super short notice that we needed a place to stay. So I reached out to the phone number listed on their Google business profile and got a hold of April the camp host and she was super helpful and hooked us up with a spot last minute that had full hookups for our RV!
One thing that was amazing on our return trip back home we were coming through Lakeport and I had some business zoom calls that I needed to make. So I texted April and the day before she was able to hook us up with a spot with full hookups so that I could use my starlink internet and make my zoom calls!
Also, starlink works great in this park. There are trees but very limited so there’s a good view of the sky!
There’s also a great little park right next door within walking distance that my kids absolutely loved!

I recently visited Willow Point in Lakeport, and my experience was a mix of impressions. The place is pleasant and offers easy access for fishermen, which is a big plus. However, the advertisement about the location is a bit misleading. The website shows a beach area in front of the camping sites, but in reality, there is only brush with no proper access to the lake.
Another point to consider is the reception, which was abandoned during my visit. To check in, you need to contact a person via phone. After that, you can choose your site and set up. Be careful, though, as one of the staff members is often very drunk and doesn’t have a polite approach.
As for the facilities, the sites for trucks are good and have water and electricity hookups, while the tent sites only have water. On a positive note, the bathrooms are clean, and the shower water is hot. In summary, Willow Point has its positives, especially for fishermen, but some aspects could be improved.
