This is a beautiful location for an RV park though the location allows for a lot of wind. It is an easy walk out to the beach.
Disappointed in the RV site; they park every other site with the windshield to the trees not the ocean. The utilities are shared between two sites so one of you has to face away from the ocean; may not be a big deal if you are in a 5th wheel or a trailer but in a motorhome with a huge windshield it is very disappointing. The staff was very friendly when we arrived. They had a playground, volleyball; we did not use any of the offered amenities. I would stay here again but would confirm that we could face the ocean.

Only has running water on one place
You might see a bear wondering around at night. Has cabins. Cabins are small. They have a fridge, microwave and a broom inside them. Better for rvs. Big beach. Always cold there. They have a little covienence store ther but it is open 9-6. So if you need firewood or water to drink plan ahead if you will be there after they close. Has bathrooms. Doors for toilet pretty much touch your knees when sitting down. Has a shower a doller for 2 minutes. So bring change if u plan on showering. Staff is nice and helpful. But it really is bare bones resort. Bring what you need because it doesn’t have much. I got our fire going a little to hot and had trouble putting it out due to not wanting to walk to where water was because we had seen the bear walking around. And the power has gone out on Saturday night everytime I’ve gone there. They have wifi. Without it you cant make a phone call or have any internet.

We stayed in tents part of the campground and seemingly in low season, so we were the pretty much the only campers on the beach and RVs lot was maybe 50% full. I can see how it can get busy and crammed in high season. It was also reasonably quiet when we visited. You can hear cars on the Highway 1 above you a little bit, but more in the RV part.
The beach has portapotty bathrooms with hand sanitizer, that were kept adequately cleaned and stocked. The running water bathroom was further away, but was also clean. The showers are coin operated which is standard for many campgrounds. The huge plus of this one that it takes 1 quarter at a time for 30 seconds showering time so you can stagger the washing process (rather than paying for 3 mins at once and scrambling to be done). Water got nice and hot after first 30 seconds.
We didn’t see any bears, but we took precautions and stored away all food and removed trash promptly. (However, an accidentally discarded piece of food immediately attracted half a dozen of vultures to the beach that were landing one after another like jets, so beware).
There are signs posted around the campground regarding the bears. It would be nice if the campground invested into actual bear boxes for food storage and got adequate trash cans. The plastic ones have locks on them which can stop small critters but not a bear if it gets its mind to it. The same applies for storing food in the cas and luckily wasn’t a problem for us.
The employees were nice, but firm about enforcing the rules. They do require pets to be on leash at all times.
Pros: unbeatable views
Cons: the price seemed quite high since there are additional fees per every person and pet in the site per night.
Overall, I would recommend, but maybe not in peak season.

I wish that there were half stars, because this park does earn 4.5 for super clean bathrooms, quiet spacious camp sites and accessibility to the beach. They lose half a star for cost – we chose to drydock with NO hookups and it was still an expensive stay-$70 /day. For that price they could/should invest in starlink or a satellite for internet-it’s mostly unreliable and if you’re traveling you need internet to book your next stop. Also, they need to invest in a grass catcher/bagger. Unavoidable HUGE clumps of wet grass on your feet just trying to get into your camper, what a mess. PS just down the road people were overnighting for free in the pull-outs on 101.

This campground does not provide the services they advertise, even though they charge for them in advance. They require full payment before you arrive. Once you get there and realize the place is not what was promised, they point to a large “No Refund” policy at checkout.
This place is clearly focused on taking money rather than treating guests fairly. I would recommend staying away from this campground.
