Wouldn’t even put me on their wait list even though I said I was fine with seeking care elsewhere for the 12-18 months it would take to get established. I am a local living less than 20 minutes away. Wouldn’t even take my name and referred me to Willits (where I will likely have to seek care regardless) and even further to Gualala.

I understand having a full client list, but admitting you HAVE a list and refusing to even add me to the bottom is ridiculous. It would take 30 seconds to do and you wouldn’t hear from me for another year at least. I even told them I have pet insurance and a clean payment record from my last clinic. Absolutely wrote me off.

I know it’s a small area, and I know that vets are hard to come by but- Go, RUN somewhere else. They destroyed my dog’s mouth when they pulled her teeth. My new vet is appalled at the condition of the dental work and her jaw. Not to mention the cost was considerably more than the estimate, with less work done. We won’t even discuss the overpriced unmentioned tests

I’ve consistently had a positive experience with the staff over the past 2 years. My dogs have always been well cared for by Dr. Novak and her staff. (My dogs actually love going to Village Vet and seeing their human friends there, and have wanted to go inside when we were walking downtown, so if they could leave reviews of their own, they would also rate Village Vet highly!)
