Server was prompt, food was delicious. Great place to go to on Benicia. We went on a Saturday prior to the 8 o’clock show at the local theater. Because of that, you really need a reservation as many theater patrons enjoy eating here.

I dined at Venticello on a rainy evening, which meant missing out on their outdoor seating, but the cozy interior still made for a charming experience. The space is on the smaller side, with additional bar seating, and while that does create a lively atmosphere, it can occasionally get a bit loud depending on the crowd. Service was excellent, attentive, efficient, and deserving of five stars. We were welcomed with bread and a tomato-based accompaniment (I personally would have preferred butter, but that’s just preference). I ordered the clams in a white wine sauce, which were beautifully prepared and flavorful, along with a classic Caesar salad and a rich chocolate soufflé to finish, very enjoyable. Overall, the food was solidly in the four to four-and-a-half star range, and it’s clear the restaurant has a loyal following, which speaks volumes. A great spot for a lively dinner, even if not the quietest setting for a low-key evening.

Delicious food, incredible service! We dined al fresco on a chilly Saturday night, but the heat lamps kept us warm. Both of the pasta dishes were tasty and flavorful. I ordered the chicken pesto dish but without the chicken, so just the pasta portion. The server thoughtfully asked if I would like the chef to add more vegetables to the pasta to make it a more complete meal. This was much appreciated because most places will simply remove the protein, which is the main part of the entrée, and charge the full amount for the dish. The entire staff was so attentive and kind. We really loved the food and experience! Thank you for being so considerate and accommodating to a vegetarian!
