I had two cats get injured in the same week-one got bit in the foot and the other got bit in the side of her face. My regular vet of 15 years could not get either in, which was frustrating. I went on Google and picked this Veterinary clinic due to the great Google Reviews, then crossed my fingers and called. The front office lady, Jessica was sweet as pie and so caring about my urgent situation. Though I had never been there before, she squeezed my cat in to be seen by Dr. Haynes the very next day, on a Monday. I found Dr. Haynes and his Assistant (Paul) I think was his name, to be very level-headed, caring, thorough and expressively kind toward me and my cat, even offering to show me where they kennel animals when they need to stay overnight because I had expressed my reservations about leaving my cat. Just a few days later, my other cat’s cheek swelled up and again, I called and spoke with Jessica, who again was kind and patient and got me in quickly. I was very pleasantly surprised with my bills for both small surgeries, VERY reasonable. I had called one other vet in my own town prior to finding Dr. Haynes and they told me that they would charge me $800 to have my cat seen as an emergency, that did not cover anything additionally-Sooo outrageous!
I highly recommend Dr. Haynes and his staff. They give you unfiltered advice, do not gouge your pocketbook and somehow, though they have been in business for a VERY long time, they still show empathy and take the time to address your questions & concerns. Thank you for fixing up my Bella Boo and Wyatt “the Riot.” We are all very grateful.
I took my dog to get treated for flea allergy, and they did great on him overall, the pricing was also pretty cheap compared to others, but the staff who works front desk is not very nice, she is annoyed by questions, she has an attitude, it’s not very professional.
I live quite far from any vets and was originally taking my dog to a different vet. Not seeing any progress and getting frustrated I tried this vet in ukiah nearly 1h40minutes from me.
The staff is great and the male nurse(?) Was very great with my dog. You can tell they like animals.
I took my dog every week about 6 times to put medicine in her ears. I feel the price was fair and they handled my large, not entirely friendly dog well.
Overall I am glad I came here. My dogs ear infection seems to have really gone away. If I need to go in the future i will return here. Prices were fair.
The only reason I go there is because I have a rabbit and no other vet around will treat a rabbit. I feel like he price gouges when I’ve had a 75 lb dog cost me less to spay out-of-pocket no snap certificate. The rabbit belongs to my daughter therefore I’m going to try and save him the best I can but he had abscesses on his ear and it cost me over $1,000 just to end with an amputated ear and my rabbit was the first one he had ever done it to. I’m happy and grateful he help me out in saving my rabbit’s life but the prices are ridiculous especially for a first. I was quoted one price and charged a whole different one. Not cool
Excellent standard of care. With compassion and clarity, Dr. Haynes always provides the scientific and veterinary details, reviews microbiology and radiography and included me in what, why, when with practical, compassionate solutions. Very important to me, his stellar knowledge & expertise gives me confidence and trust. The entire staff demonstrate incredible teamwork physically (big dog) and sense of urgency (big decisions), kindness & accommodation more than once.
Jessica juggles a lot at the desk yet rises to the occasion. Todd in the back a good teacher to his team and accomplished Vet Tech…..TEN stars for UVH….
