Not family friendly. Parking lot very suspicious. Glad we weren’t robbed. Staff seem uninterested. Strangers were knocking on our doors throughout the night. Spend your money somewhere else.

I was robbed in the hotel parking lot. When I notified management, they simply pointed to the sign stating that they are not liable. The area is very rough, with homeless people and drug users everywhere; despite this, the hotel takes no preventive measures, such as having a night guard. I do not recommend this hotel, as guest safety is not taken seriously.

Its a good place for you to spend a night or two. The hotel must be enrolled “project room key” there a few rooms on the ground floor by the ice machine – occupied by homeless people. This place was my home base while visiting the Redwoods National Parks. I won’t stay in this place in the summer. NO AC.

Wow! Nice place for Eureka. I was expecting something lesser but this place was so clean and spacious! The room had nice furnishings, the amenities were great, and the bed was firm. Aside from the disturbance at night from a homeless lady knocking on my door for a cigarette, the place was quiet enough being it is right in front of the 101 highway. The staff were nice and efficient with check-in and check-out. Parking is easy. Located across the street from grocery. Walking distance to a bunch of restaurants. Recommend Kristina’s restaurant for huge portions!

⭐ Review for Travelodge by Wyndham – Disappointing Stay Despite Friendly Staff ⭐
I recently stayed at Travelodge by Wyndham and, unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. While I truly appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the staff—they were courteous, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit—the condition of the room left much to be desired.
❌ Room Condition: The room felt outdated and poorly maintained. Furniture was worn, the carpet looked stained, and the overall cleanliness was lacking. It was clear that the space hadn’t been renovated in quite some time.
❌ Cleanliness: Surfaces were dusty, and the bathroom did not meet basic hygiene standards. It made it difficult to feel comfortable during my stay.
❌ Comfort: The bed was not very comfortable, and the ambiance of the room felt neglected. It didn’t provide the restful environment I was hoping for.
✅ Staff Service: The only redeeming aspect of my stay was the staff. They were genuinely kind and tried their best to make guests feel welcome. Their service was the highlight of an otherwise disappointing experience.
While I appreciate the efforts of the team, I would recommend considering other accommodations unless major improvements are made to the rooms and facilities. With some renovation and attention to cleanliness, this location could offer a much better experience.
