I ordered the Angus beef for $32. for lunch and it was mostly gristle. Good thing the dog was with us, as she got most of it. I mentioned it twice to the waiters but they pretty much ignored the matter. Oh well…maybe I should try the shrimp next time. (My friend’s dumpling were pretty ordinary too.)

Somewhat newly opened so the place is busy. We enjoyed the chow mein and cabbage dish (large, but $20? $18 on the to-go menu) but the veg dumplings were a bit tough and were the only non-pork/beef dumplings (no chicken or shrimp options). Our friend did enjoy her pork/crab dumplings, and the veg spring rolls were fine.

Glad to see Tipsy Dumpling is open. We had a great family dinner here. Crispy shrimp with sweet glaze was unbelievable (good)! Interesting and tasty cocktails. Kacey did a great job as a server keeping us in dumplings. Lots of attention from bartenders, servers, and other staff making sure we were well taken care of. We will definitely be back.

The vibe and atmosphere were really good and the food was delicious. Best Chinese food we’ve ever had in Marin county and personally the best I’ve ever had in my life and the service was very good. It was fast service and they poured water and brought us ice and did everything that they could to make it the best place possible

    Loved it!
We ordered: edamame and crab rangoons, orange chicken, kung pao, and chow mein + white rice, bao and steamed dumplings.
The ambiance and food are spectacular.
They make the best orange chicken I’ve ever had, and the chow main is PERFECT.
Please order yourself some crab Rangoon and edamame, they are 10/10.
The Bao and steamed dumplings are amazing too, you can tell the care and dedication put into the food.
The cocktails are tasty and balanced: not too alcoholic but you can definitely feel it in there.
The girls at the front and picking up the phone are sweet, but they definitely need some training, that’s normal… the place just opened and they are young
If I had to say something negative about the food is wish the entrees came with rice instead of having to order separately.
A great addition to Marin, I’m so happy it finally opened!
Ps. I wish they closed a bit later 🙂
