Absolutely love this place. Have been three times and think it’s a gem in rural California, much preferred to busier more traditional (and overpriced) stays in Napa/Sonoma. The wine in the region is amazing and the Madrones/Brambles is the only name in town worth staying at. Don’t expect a full-service hotel, but do expect beautiful rooms with thoughtful touches, fantastic landscaping in the gardens, and an oasis of relaxation. Good value for California also. Would recommend!
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Madrones in 2024 and we were blown away by how beautiful the room and grounds were. If that wasn’t good enough, the service was incredible, not just at the Madrones, but also at the Bohemian Chemist and Wickson Restaurant.
If you are coming to the Anderson Valley, while there are many great options, you couldn’t hope to stay somewhere nicer than the Madrones. Additionally, if you are a cannabis-consumer and want to stay somewhere pot-friendly, no other hotel in the valley has their own dispensary.
The most amazing magical place. I felt like I was in Tuscany. Every detail from the rooms, the gardens, the linens to the delicious fruit and homemade cinnamon bread delivered daily. And the location is perfect for visiting the Anderson Valley wineries. There is no other place like it!
Loved this small gem in Anderson Valley. You will think Italy or France when visiting this place. It includes two wine tasting rooms, a restaurant and Cannibis Pharmacy. Loved it! It has an event center perfect for weddings and anniversaries

This property is truly special. The grounds are gorgeously manicured. Kila is an absolute gem and gave us the lay of the land.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Can wait to go back.
