We stayed here March 31st, 2026. It was my birthday and anniversary day with my partner, so a lots to celebrate. This couldn’t be a better place to be for us!
The farm is stunning, surrounded by the ocean, forest and animals. Food is so delicious that we had to recover from overeating (not kidding). The views are like in the movie about lighthouse keepers. The rooms are so special, everything made of wood and stone with nautical elements.
Josh was very kind and welcomed us at the check in. Lovely Misha took such a good care of us! I can’t thank her enough for her warmth and attention to details. Felisha showed us everything in the garden and let us taste the fruits of growth, it felt so special. Special yank you for the chefs – home made pasta, smocked beef, garden salat, pannacotta, everything made with skillful hand and for the most sophisticated consumers.
I can’t wait to stay there again! What a hidden gem!

Newport Ranch is an extraordinary place in so many ways! It is 50 yards from the ocean on top of a grassy bluff that overlooks the gorgeous rocky cost line. Walking along the mile and a half private coastline was an incredible experience. The sea below was stunning! We sat on a bench watching the waves roll in mesmerized by the beauty.
The Inn itself has utilized the redwood trees on the property to create an architectural gem! The rooms were lovely and the beds were very comfortable. There are large rock fireplaces in the dinning room and den that they keep lit all day and at dinner. It was wonderful to sit by the fire after a delicious ranch dinner and roast marshmallows while drinking a local wine. It just doesn’t get any better!
The chefs use ingredients from the 2200 acre property to make the meals outstanding. We ate 4 dinners there because the food was the best in the area which is really saying something.
We can’t wait to go back. There is plenty to do in the area, Hendy woods, Fort Bragg, coastal walks, whale watching, and wine tasting to name a few.
The staff could not have been better! We loved, Otis, Cody, Alex, Micha, Nick and his team were so nice and wondful. Its an outstanding hotel and I highly recommend it.

What wasn’t perfect? the rooms were cozy and delightful, the common spaces were inviting and warming – with a fire place and lots of hang spaces. The staff was attentive, but light and fun at the same time. They gave great recommendations. And the grounds were just stunning – long walks, good treks along inspiring coastline, with solitude and quiet. Benches and tables emerging like mushrooms in little pockets by the ocean. And the food. Have you ever had a breath taking tuna sandwich? well now I have. How many times have you paused over oats? Then you get to the main event – the dinners were amazing – every dish worth relishing.

This Inn has it all; amazing views, relaxing atmosphere, great food, well appointed and comfortable rooms with snacks, but best of all are the staff. This is the type of place that knows what you need before you do. Everyone who works here really seems to enjoy the ranch and are genuinely warm, friendly, and accommodating. Don’t miss out on any type of ranch or forrest tour either, its a spectacular journey (thanks Otis!). Can’t wait to visit again and have more drinks by the fireplace.

Our first holiday as a little family—just the three of us and our three‑month‑old—couldn’t have been more perfect. We wanted a place where we could truly immerse ourselves in nature while savoring exceptional food, and this ranch delivered on every promise. From the moment we arrived, we felt a sense of calm wash over us. The bluffs and picnic spots offered some of the most breathtaking views of the California coast we’ve ever seen, and simply wandering the thoughtful grounds became one of our favorite pastimes.

Breakfast each morning was nothing short of spectacular. Two nights, we treated ourselves to the seven‑course tasting menu—an incredible, Michelin‑star‑level meal. The head chef and sous chefs were incredibly passionate; they walked us through their homemade fermentation process and showed us how they forage and maximize every ingredient from the land.

One of our highlights was Odis, the kindest local guide with a treasure trove of regional stories. He gave us an unforgettable ATV tour, and we even had the privilege of planting a redwood sapling together, which felt like a small, meaningful way to give back to this beautiful place. We 10/10 recommend booking time with him.

Another mini highlight was Felicia, who cares for the garden. She taught us about the herbs growing on the property and even gifted us fresh lemon verbena leaves to take home.

Mercedes was responsive and accommodating to our needs with our little boy, making sure we always felt supported.

All in all, we stayed right on the property for three days and never once wished we’d ventured elsewhere. It was one of the most memorable vacations of our lifetime, and we cannot wait to come back.
