Front Porch Inn is a gem of great caliber. It is charming, cozy comfortable, eclectic and thoughtful. It seems like every detail was carefully considered. It was like staying in a quiet enchanted forest. The decor was uniquely aesthetic. The ambience was so relaxed and respectful. We were so impressed and would highly recommend 10/10

We stayed here on our way to Pebble Beach from Washington state. We were really confused when we first drove up. There’s nothing on the exterior of this place that gives a hint to the wonderful amazing magical place inside the gate. We stayed in base camp. It is a super fun and unique experience. The level of detail is superb. We ended up booking another night for our return trip. LOVE THIS PLACE!

Charming Stay in the Heart of Arcata
The Front Porch Inn is a wonderful little find in Arcata. We stayed in the Basecamp room, which had so much personality — the perfect mix of cozy and adventurous that made it feel like a true home base for exploring the area. The inn itself has a warm, welcoming vibe that’s hard to come by. Arcata is such a unique town, and the Front Porch Inn fits right in with its relaxed, genuine charm. We’d absolutely stay here again on our next trip up the Northern California coast.

Stayed for 1 night but we wish we would’ve been able to book a longer stay. It’s a great midway location if you’re planning a trip through the Redwoods and has a very cute and clean sauna. We didn’t get to use the tubs but they looked well maintained and private. The rooms were clean and plenty of space to cook and relax after long driving and hiking. They left us farm fresh eggs in the fridge and we added on the local cider (would highly recommend as well!) that were also left with cold mugs ready to drink!
Above all, we wanted to give a shoutout to Shannon for mailing back a suit that was left in the room. You saved the day!

We were on a 10 day road trip and all agreed this was our favorite stop! We stayed in the cabin and it was so cute! All the little touches were so fun and you can tell a lot of care has gone into the property. The outdoor tubs were unforgettable, and we are big hot tub ppl. Whole place is adorable and completely perfect. Highly recommend!
