This is not a negative comment but more of my opinion. Of course the food is amazing. The ambiance is clean and organized. My issue and maybe this was just my fault. I asked for a chicken soup and the cashier explained that it comes fried I was confused so I asked fried chicken in a soup she probably didnt hear me or I didnt understand her. I said yes to the order. Chicken soup, 4 tacos and a super burito for my family as well. I get the order and I always like to check so I did and didnt see the soup I ordered so I go to the counter and tell the lady I ordered soup she said no you ordered fried chicken with rice and beans I was like no I want the chicken soup. Well didnt want to make things worse I asked if she can just change it and make me the soup, she told me she cant. Again not to make things worse I just told her we’ll ill pay for the soup can you make me the soup.(my 4 year old was sick and wanted soup) so it was important to get the soup.
I waited another 10-15 mins to get the soup.
Like I said maybe I didnt explain her what I wanted or she didnt understand me.
After spending $75 on all the meal I felt that she could have just changed for the soup. Repeated the order to make sure the order was correct.
I have worked in fast food industry for many years and I am not saying customer is always right but rules can be bent a little.
Just my experience not been negative.

We have this place on our monthly rotation. My brother orders his usual carnitas plate, I order chile relleno a la carte and an elote. The carnitas were a little dry but with rice, salad and beans balanced it out. The chile relleno was big, I was glad I did not get the plate with rice and beans. The corn was nice, the cotija is usually the flavor that I like to taste. Service is nice and efficient. Tried tripas tacos, chewy but tasty. Came with salsa and pickled carrots and beets along with chips. My brother got a carnitas burrito. Flavorful as well but he could not finish it all. We brought parents to have a carnitas plate. They can make their own tacos to their taste. Also ordered flan and fried bananas. My parents loved them. We ordered fried fish today, we liked the crisp texture, especially dad.

I ordered the California burrito (to go) and was blown away by how tasty it was. It was a generous portion of food, kept well on the drive home, and was everything I wanted. It came with a small bag of chips and some hot salsa that I also enjoyed. I will be back.

Solid burrito but nothing special in my opinion. Dont regret my visit but would not go back

We got a California Burrito and some Tacos. It was delicious. They weren’t stingy for meat servings. The staff was kind and patient. We also got some horchata which was great. It’s authentic Mexican food. The environment is very down to earth, which I like. It’s a casual place to eat, and it’s still delicious. Would definitely come back
