Unfortunately, this hotel was very disappointing. The rooms are old, worn out, and not very clean. Everything feels outdated and in need of renovation. The staff was okay, and the location is convenient, but it definitely does not justify the price. We paid around $300 per night, and for that amount we expected a much better experience. It feels like the high price is mainly due to the lack of competition in the area rather than the quality of the hotel. I wouldn’t stay here again unless there were no better options.

Typical motel with convenient access to Glass Beach.

The best thing about the motel is the location. You can walk to Glass Beach or stores and restaurants in about 10 minutes. Also, it has a diner onsite. The front desk/lobby area has a big rack of brochures for attractions in the region.

My room seemed pretty clean. I didn’t notice any stains on the bed. There was a refrigerator and a coffee machine with one satchet of sugar, one paper cup, and three little bags of coffee provided. The closet area had hangers and a folding luggage rack. The bathroom had a weird shower about a foot higher than the floor. There were clean towels.

The room definitely wasn’t soundproof but people were quiet. When there was a car driving in the lot outside, I could hear it as clear as if there wasn’t a door. The bed was super comfortable and I slept well. Before bed, I watched some shows on the TV. Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus, Hulu, ESPN, and Netflix are all available without ads.

Funky budget motel. I felt safe staying for one night with my young kids, but would definitely look elsewhere next time. Great location and inexpensive lodging but it’s in need of a thorough deep clean and basic maintenance, like fixing broken lamps etc. The rooms smell of a very strong chemical disinfectant and floors were filthy. Keep your shoes on! Classic case of “you get what you pay for.”

Ground floor single queen – room had easy access and right off Main St. Bed was comfortable. Had some issues with cleanliness. There were a few cobwebs and floor was not swept well. Baseboards were a bit dirty and lots of gouges in walls. Ok, so it seems a little run down, but it is a budget hotel. The sign out front says “Smart and Luxurious.”. Shower drain backed up a few inches in shower pan and cold water faucet had a spurting leak. Toilet had a leak and cycled every 20 min to fill the tank. Road noise was evident, even in the early morning hours, but it wasn’t too bad if you’re kind of a heavy sleeper.

The staff was very friendly. I wanted to let them know of the issues with the room when I checked out, but the office was being mopped and the fumes were overwhelming and I shortened my goodbye.

Good location, very close to Glass Beach. The guy at check in was great. The rooms are super basic. Smelled strongly of toxic cleaning solution that had us both coughing and sneezing throughout the night and we both woke up really congested. The floors, FILTHY. The bottoms of our feet were black from walking on the floors barefoot. After showering, they immediately became gross again. The light by the mirror outside of the bathroom was burnt out, so getting ready in the morning was tough with little lighting. The shower did not drain well at all- my husband propped the top of a plastic cup in the drain to open it wider to drain better. The bathroom door did not close well. The beds are on some cheap metal piece that made a lot of noise. The mattress was caved in on the sides.
