What an incredible find! Despite its unassuming location, this spot opens up into a beautifully spacious restaurant and bar with a super welcoming team. The menu is the real star, though the smashed burger was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. Definitely a must visit.

We went to South G kitchen to celebrate a birthday and it was very kid friendly pet friendly. We sat outside and there were the cutest two little golden retriever puppies a few tables down from us they were able to pet! Such an awesome space as for the food absolutely stellar we walked through the brewery to get to the back door, which is where you access the food truck lots of options we got fish and chips and the special which was it pickle brine fried chicken breast sandwich, and a beef bowl over rice, as well as the garlic fries. Top notch. Everything! We even had the homemade root beer on tap, which was delightful.

Love this food truck that partners with Redwood Curtain Brewing in Arcata. I’ve tried a a lot of items on their menu and each one has been amazing. From the Brussels to the burgers you can’t go wrong, even when you realize you ordered too much. We had lunch on the patio on a beautiful sunny day and had a couple ciders and ales with our meal, it’s always a great place to hang out for a bit or just pop in for a quick bite. I would suggest ordering your food first, then belly up to the bar and get your drinks, find a table and your food buzzer will go off shortly. The brewery is friendly for all ages and they have games and a shuffleboard table for those of you who stay a little longer. Not sure if your canine companion is welcome, might call ahead first and check. Bring an ice chest if you want to take a growler or crowler home to enjoy later, there are lots of craft brews for the ale lover to sample.

I often get the burger as it’s normally really good, or the fish sandwich, but everything has been yummy, and I think I’ve tried almost the entire menu. One night, the burger patty was burnt to a crisp, tasted of charcoal and there was barely any meat, which was very bizarre (hence the 4 out of 5). The sandwich was mostly bun and onion with a little lettuce, tiny bit of sauce and very little burger. What a huge disappointment, especially when the food is normally great, but luckily that was a one-off. I love redwood curtain too, so it makes it fun to visit both in one go:)

Really good food every time! Consistently flavorful, highly recommended the parmesan garlic fries. They’re some of the best French fries I’ve ever had. Yogi bowl is really great as well. More expensive than lots of food trucks but very worth it, seating inside Redwood Curtain has a great atmosphere. Great for large groups of friends or family, as well as a fun date night.
