I fully choked up with tears in my eyes at bite #1. The gentleman who took my order was an absolute homie and helped me pick the perfect combo of items to get a taste of the things I wanted – we landed on the Caramelo with carne asada and the grilled poblano + a chicken chivichanga.

Oh my god. This place knows how to use salt acid fat and heat. The taste of fire on the steak and poblano combined with the FRESHEST tomato taste both in the dishes and the SALSA oh my god I would fly to LA just to taste the salsa Roja again (unbelievable, WHERE do they get their tomatoes???) + the chewy fattiness (but still fresh?? Light??) of the tortilla…. I’m so emotional. All the flavor filled juices of everything blended in such a balanced unbelievable way. The grilled onions on top. It was a perfect meal and I’m so grateful.

This is the real deal … amazing meats, amazing salsas, and perfectly made tortillas. The agua fresca took the edge off the heat from the salsas. But it was all super tasty and cannot wait to come back!

Nice little joint for the Mexican food and some great chivichanga or tacos … had good options both with and without meat as well
The place is small so won’t work for a bigger party of people and also the part of town is a little shady so I would avoid going there in the night but the food is worth if you go a little early…

Delicious. If we had known, we probably would’ve ordered the braised beef for all of the items. My favorite was the chimichangas that’s grilled. The tacos were good and the burrito wasn’t bad but we had ordered steak. I think it would have been much more flavorful with the braised beef.
The service was quick and friendly counter service. The seating was along the wall or a few tables outside. The surrounding area is clean.
I would definitely come back and order the chimichanga again. I love the grilled tortillas. The char really makes a difference. The chips come out of a bag. The salsas are good. I didn’t get to taste their spicy salsa which was supposedly in the burritos but I didn’t taste much of it.
