What an amazing place to stay!
We were driving back to Pasadena from Mt. Hood, Oregon, and this hotel turned out to be the most pleasant surprise of our entire journey home. The views are absolutely stunning, and the peaceful silence at night is incredibly rejuvenating for a tired driver after a long day on the road.
If I ever find myself anywhere near this area again, this will be my first choice without hesitation—assuming they have a room available, of course. Highly recommended!

Our favourite stay on the California coast! Beautifully laid out rooms, spotless throughout, and each with their own deck. Lovely view and wonderfully quiet location. The entrance area had freshly baked cookies when we arrived and a wonderful cold breakfast selection in the morning.

We spent a Friday night here in May 2026 and would have stayed longer had they not been fully booked for the following nights. Our room was spacious, recently updated, and comfortable. There was natural light coming from windows on two sides of the room. Electrical outlets were well-placed. The price-to-quality ratio was excellent for the Mendocino coast. The view was lovely. The management was highly responsible-when power was briefly out they arranged alternate accommodations in case power was not restored. An excellent place to stay.

Beautiful property, clean and nice rooms! Super friendly staff. No strong fragrances from the cleaning supplies or on the linens for those with sensitivies. It’s very close to Mendocino restaurants, etc. We had a great stay and can’t wait to return!

We loved everything about Seafoam Lodge. Every room has an ocean view and a quaint little porch that’s perfect for sitting outside and soaking it all in. Our room was impeccably clean, cozy, and beautifully styled. Think log cabin meets beach house.
Our two small dogs were warmly welcomed by the owners, Heidi and Dan, with the sweetest care package! It was also lovely to see other dogs around. Very relaxed, very chill.
In the morning, when you step out for the complimentary continental breakfast at the office, you’re treated to the opposite view: towering Mendocino trees and lush forest. It truly feels like 360-degree beauty. You can enjoy breakfast by the fire pit, relax in the office, or bring everything back to your room.
Heidi also bakes fresh goodies and leaves them out during the day, along with coffee and tea, for a quick (and free) snack. It’s honestly the cutest touch.
Between the thoughtful perks and the price, this place can’t be beat. We’re already talking about coming back next year and bringing more of our family.
