Sea Rock Inn is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Truly a special getaway with lots to see and do.
We totally felt treated with the breakfasts that were delivered to our door each morning. The fresh fruit was a home run along with the pastries. The chocolate brownies in the lobby were also a big hit.
The inn’s proximity to three State Parks is a nature-lover’s dream come true. We chose canoeing on the Big River estuary, only a few miles from the inn, and hiking at the parks. We also loved strolling the botanical gardens, only about 15 minutes north of the inn.
Our only regret is not spending more time at Sea Rock Inn because we were having so much darn fun exploring the Mendocino coast!

This place is over the top beautiful. We have the most beautiful ocean, cliffs, breaking waves view from inside our unit, even the bathroom has the great view, we’re in unit 12. It’s just stunning. And, the flower gardens here are incredible. The colors they have are beyond vibrant. It’s like staying in Butchart Gardens with an ocean view. Also I have to mention. The place is maintained very well, the room was very clean. The included and delivered to our room breakfast was really great each day. At check in Katie took time to concierge for us and totally set us up with all the info about the area we needed to have a great stay. We stayed 5 nights, when we come back, I could stay longer. I can’t wait to come back.

**Sea Rock Inn — Mendocino: A True Gem**
I booked a last-minute one-night getaway here with two rooms — #8 for myself and #15 for my friend — and it turned out to be one of the best spontaneous decisions I’ve made all year.
This place is exceptional. The rooms were spotless, incredibly comfortable, and everything was clearly well cared for. The staff went above and beyond — genuinely warm, attentive, and professional customer service from the moment we arrived.
The view from the balcony of room #8 speaks for itself. Waking up to that is exactly the escape I needed from the day-to-day grind.
It’s no surprise Sea Rock Inn books up all year round — it’s a hidden gem on the Mendocino coast. I’ll absolutely be back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, restorative getaway.

What an amazingly beautiful Inn! We were celebrating an 80th Birthday and rented 3 cottages. Everyone of them had an amazing ocean view, comfortable beds, very clean, wonderful bathroom amenities, cozy fireplace and warm welcoming decor. The grounds were spectacular and extremely well maintained. And the staff was absolutely great! Upon check in we spoke with Katie who was wonderful! She explained everything fully, asked about breakfast, time of delivery and any dietary restrictions. The Inn provded us with a whole list of nearby sites to see and restaurants. They did not miss one item of detail, we had a great time, the only downfall is that we had to leave. But we will be back for sure!!

We will be back again! From arrival, Lilah was wonderfully inviting and knowledgeable about the area. So kind. The landscaping was beautiful, and the bottomless brownies perfectly tasty. Cabin 2 was so clean and comfortable, we may have to purchase the brand of sheets on the bed. We spent every moment we could enjoying the beautiful views. We highly recommend taking the opportunity to stay at Sea Rock Inn. Thank you for the wonderful and memorable stay.
