Stayed in Woodside, on the higher numbered loop. Nice if older campsite with decent privacy & a good amount of wildlife. Quick access to Stump Beach by car or Gerstle Cove by hike.
If you’re wanting to hang a hammock, definitely visit first to choose a site with well placed trees etc., as most of the sites do not have anything to support one.
It gets wet at night from the fog that rolls in sometimes, so be prepared for mildly wet mornings on occasion.

Of the many stops one can make on the Callfornia cost, Salt Piont remains one of my favorite. The bulffs, the forested mountians, the ubiquitous birds and wildlife all make this park a constant joy. If the weather cooperates this park transforms from one marvel to the next, yeilding pictuesque views in varied conditions, giving one the breath and the force of the Pacific Ocean. Either camp ground will do, the cites are not fancy but they are comfortable and set with some privacy.

Amazing and beautiful to see the coastline of California! Another gem at point State Park. Beautiful tide pools in the cove! The walks along the cliffs were full of spring flowers!
Bridal Kaleidoscope
We used this park as a stop/ lunch point with our 20 foot trailer. 10$ day use fee. Empty parking on January 7th. Great view with short easy hikes.

Stunning views of the coast. Very easy to walk around, and due to the remote location, usually not too crowded. A bit of a precarious drive if coming from the south, and coast is similar to Monterey Bay or other locations closer to SF.
But nice trails to enjoy both the sea and forest.
