I first went to Jason at Ron’s Auto about 8 months ago for a headlight bulb replacement. I could have tried to do it myself but I always to to have problems with the little clips. I went to the shop they said sure but they would need to order the light for the next day. They let me just go to an auto parts place and get it for them. Jason quoted $25. Because they were so on demand (Done in under 1 hour), nice, honest, I paid them $50. I went back to have Jason do an oil change and check out my 20 years old but low miles car. I asked that he drive and and he did for about 50 miles of errands over 2 days. He tested all the major systems and found a need for 2 belts, and an issue that is minor but very expensive to remove in the drive train. He suggested that I leave it alone and to not to stress it by full lock steering. It isn’t causing any major wear issues. After 2 days, he said he couldn’t find anything else to fix or charge me for. An auto repair place that doesn’t always find something to charge for? Unheard of! Honest! Rare! I drive very little so I asked should I be back in 6 months for a check up. He said, given how little I drive, 1 year. Honest! I highly recommend this shop, Jason, the female mech who is super cool, the accountant/bookkeeper type in the office, the whole place. Honest!

These people are so nice here!

I called a week ago a day before the 4th of July and explain how my 2007 Highlander had been making a tiny bit of vibration noise when I stopped at a stoplight, and it was something very minor, but I like to take my vehicle in whenever it sounds even a little bit different, plus I’m on a road trip far from home so I wanted to get it checked out for peace of mind, and the gal who answered the phone (who is an angel and was so nice on the phone and in person) told me that the next day they were open (which was today) I could just call them up whenever it was convenient for me, and bring it in and they would look at it.

So I made my way over there today and though they were all hard at work Jason graciously started the car up and listened to it for a few minutes and then even popped the hood and looked around and gave me great clarity and peace of mind about what was likely the problem – which turned out to not be a problem at all and something that wasn’t a pressing concern – but I was assuming the worst with motor mounts or something else, and he inspected it for a good 5 minutes and also gave me advice on how to clean the throttle body myself and so I can’t think these folks enough for taking their time on short notice to not only take a look at it but also actually give me advice on how to do it myself once I’m back home, and didn’t even charge me anything for their expertise.

Just some stand-up awesome, solid honest folks. I never got the gal’s name but I really appreciate her kindness and can’t thank Jason enough!!

Also, the whole shop just has a great vibe to it, and my only regret is I never got to pet the mascots that were there (I think the two dogs were hanging out with the kind gal behind the counter, but I couldn’t see them).
