Lovely little bakery with scrumptious food and service. We ordered a sandwich, a loaf of bread (which they sliced for us), a chai, and an iced tea. All were wonderful. The chai was a house blend and had a good kick! There is indoor seating – about 3 tables. I enjoyed looking at the art by local artists on the walls. Plenty of vegetarian options. Street parking nearby. Quiet interior. My only complaint is I wish they had prices posted for most items, not just the drinks.
Red Bird Bakery sourdough bread is the best and the only bread I will eat. I like to toast a couple of slices and top with hummus. Also makes for a good fried egg sandwich or toasted tuna.
This place has amazing pastries, breakfast burritos, and sandwiches! Their coffee is really good too! There are places to sit and eat both inside and out. Lady behind the coffee bar made a killer matcha lemonade!!!
Waited about 15 minutes for an order that never came out. I eventually went back up to ask if they were still working on it and they said they actually hadn’t started it yet. I had also ordered two iced coffees, but one of the employees said they didn’t have any iced coffee up front and might have some in the back — though it sounded like he didn’t really want to go check — and instead asked if it would be OK to make an iced Americano.
By the time everything got sorted out, one of the breakfast sandwiches had already gone cold so I had to exchange it for another one.
To be fair, it seemed like most of the confusion was coming from their ticketing system, and the staff did end up giving me a 50% discount to make it right, which I appreciated.
I genuinely love this place and mean that — but it was kind of an S-show this morning.
Lovely cafe near Art Alley. Lot of nice art decor on the walk over. Such a versatile cafe in terms of food! They have pizza, dessert pastries and cakes, as well as savory breakfast pastries and more! The croissant we got was perfect!
