Very friendly and attentive staff. We shared a Pad Thai with ribs and a burger with birria and jalapenos. The Pad Thai would have been enough for both of us. The dishes tasted great. My wife says the Pad Thai was a bit too saucy but I liked it. The Thai iced tea was very sweet but drinking some and adding water made it very good and doubled the serving for us 🙂

We came here because my graduate chose it for her celebration. She loves the birria fries, although she mentioned they weren’t quite as good as she remembered. It had been a while since we’d ordered from here.
Before arriving, I called to make sure they could accommodate our party of 10. The person I spoke with suggested coming at 4:00 PM, which we did.
Unfortunately, service was disappointing from the start. It took about 10 minutes before anyone took our drink order. Since we already had plenty of time to look over the menu, we placed both our drink and food orders at the same time.
After our food and drinks arrived, our server essentially disappeared. We never received drink refills, and part of our young child’s meal was missing. About 40 minutes later, I had to ask for boxes and the check.
Our bill would have been around $300 with a card payment, including an automatic gratuity of over $39. I don’t mind paying gratuity, but it’s frustrating when the level of service doesn’t justify it.
When we asked if our server had left for the day, another employee told us he was on a 30-minute to 1-hour break and that they were short-staffed due to call-outs. While I understand staffing challenges happen, I was surprised that no one covered his tables while he was gone.
Overall, the food was decent, but the service left a lot to be desired, especially for a large party with an automatic gratuity already included.

Wife ordered the garlic steak bites and got both the green beans and the potatoes with strawberry lemonade. I got the drunken noodles with chicken with a peach black tea. Also an order of the pot stickers.
Came around 3:30 on a sat. Was only one of 2 tables the entire time. EVERYTHING came out perfectly. Steak was tender and a perfect medium rare. All the veggies in the drunken noodles had the right mix of tenderness and crispness. And the potstickers were hot crispy and had the best dipping sauce I’ve had in years. We drove an hour and will likely do so many times in the future. Amazing service as well. Wish this was in my hometown.

Just finished dinner there – our second visit. We don’t live in Willows, but spend the night there recently to break up a trip & was recommended to try this place.
Food is fabulous. My favorite so far is the crispy eggplant. Really fabulous. The bbq pork ramen is great as well. Food good enough that we timed our trip to eat dinner there. Also have a full bar and interesting looking drinks. Unfortunately, got back on the road after dinner so we weren’t able to try… next time maybe!

We stopped in at a local dive bar looking for some food. The locals recommended read 88 right up the road. We’re glad we obliged as our experience at Red 88 was very positive. It’s a noodle house but offers a good variety of other options including steak. We ordered the steak and it came out on a sizzling platter. It was perfectly prepared and was absolutely delicious! We’re looking forward to visiting again in the near future.
