Fantastic food, great service. Atmosphere was a bit unexpected; I was thinking it would be more like a traditional steakhouse- low lighting, candles on tables, more intimate. The dining area was very open and brightly lit and open to the lobby. But the food was awesome and our waiter, Mike, handled the whole room very well ( all other staff seemed to be working an event in the other room). We feasted on several small plates and enjoyed everything. Cocktails were top notch also. Highly recommend!
I order of thr breakfast me u, the pastrami with eggs and sourdough toast.. i was bummed that it looked heated up lunchmeat slices for 18 bucks, I was thinking it would have been a little slab of pastrami , ( doesn’t say slices on menu), it was dry, sourdough bread was good. It mentioned GF options on menu was bummed it was only buns for bread. Potatoes were delicious but on line mentioned rosemary potatoes were deliciousjust needed a smig more rosemary on them..im a huge rosemary fan and GF options not so much on the menu. The me u looked like the dinner options looked better i don’t think breakfast is there for tay..I’m not from the area so I googled it..the waitress was amazing amazing customer service beautiful hotel
This restaurant is inside the Hotel Katarina in Chico California.
We have been wanting to stay here and enjoy their amenities plus it’s close to everything!
My boyfriend and I enjoyed the Farmer’s Breakfast which was a fluffy omelet with spinach and onions and crispy bacon inside. It came with artisan toast and breakfast potatoes. It was delicious! The fresh spinach inside was yummy and the rosemary on the potatoes was awesome! I put fresh rosemary and sage on just about everything I cook! Its was an elevated dish with all the right Seasonings!
My boyfriend had a coffee and I had a buttery glass of chardonnay. We sat in the enclosed outdoor space because I had my puppy with me. So relaxing ( next to the pool). Enjoyed breakfast by the firepit.
Btw…they are always dog friendly hotel!
They also have a full bar and happy hour. Let’s not forget they have rooftop dining with a bar and happy hour ( i think rooftop opens at 2pm).
Such a wonderful service with a very kind waitress ( Sandra?) who brought Wlbur a water dish to keep that has their name on the bottom of the dish!
Much needed hotel and restaurant in a fastly growing town!
Came in on cinco de Mayo. Had 3 tacos and 3 margaritas for 20.00 it was cool I had the opportunity to try 3 meats and 3 flavors. The hotel has an awesome story and so does the restaurant/bar. I will come again but next time for dinner.
Not sure why they are open before their grand opening, as they have a lot of work to be any bit successful. This restaurant is located in a hotel. The price of the food is spendy but not because of the quality ingredients but rather just gouging hotel guests I suspect. The complementary cornbread smelled and tasted like plastic, we couldn’t even eat it. Then we both got a smash burger. Completely tasteless! We were asked how everything was and we were honest, including not wanting a box for the uneaten hamburger. I would think that a business might want to make things better when you obviously didn’t like your meal,…. Not here, they just presented the check, I guess assuming that hotel guests won’t be back anyway. We literally picked up some burritos after this horrible experience. Even if you are stuck as a hotel guest, I would recommend walking somewhere near by than waste your money here.
