We stayed in the Castella Room in mid-May and it was amazing! Potter’s Foothill House is more than a Bed and Breakfast, it is more like a “Cottage and Cuisine”. The room itself was very spacious, super-clean, comfortable, well appointed, with a lovely private garden to sit in, and stocked with everything we needed for the perfect weekend. We were greeted with a bottle of champagne chilling upon arrival. The breakfasts, hand-delivered to our room, were a culinary delight! Our first morning they served a delightful and hearty Hungarian Casserole (perfect for a day of wine tasting), a Cinnamon Apple Strudel, coffee, fresh orange juice, and Greek yogurt with strawberries. The next morning we enjoyed a delicious Loaded Omelette, and possibly the best Cherry Turnover we’ve had in our lives, along with peaches in yogurt, coffee and apple juice. Well beyond a simple breakfast. We were completely full from the omelette, but took the turnover to go and enjoyed it on our way home. Seriously…Potter’s is PERFECTION. Lynn and Greg are the perfect hosts! They work hard to ensure your stay is comfortable and exceeds your expectations. The meals are the perfect way to start your day. The room is perfect, in every way. We have a favorite place to stay in Calistoga. It is perfect. We think you’ll like it too.

Absolutely amazing, we spent our anniversary weekend here and everything was great. Lynn was so helpful with everything, the food was great, the location was great and the privacy of the tower was perfect. I literally can’t find a single bad thing to say about this place. We will most certainly stay here again if we visit Calistoga!

Potter’s was a wonderful find. It’s exactly what we were looking for on our 38th anniversary. The cottage is in the back of the property and so secluded and personal. We love the waterfall that you can see from the shower and front patio. Greg and Connie were wonderful, accommodating and every little touch was with perfection – from the champagne and fresh flowers to the amazing breakfast that was cooked with such attention to detail. The grounds are a wonderland with beautiful flowers, towering Noble Firs and just so much greenery it’s like a little arboretum. Thank you both for an awesome getaway.

From the moment we arrived, everything felt magical and romantic — the atmosphere was cozy, peaceful, and full of charm. The owners went above and beyond to make us feel special, treating us more like family than guests.
And the breakfast… absolutely incredible! Every morning felt like a gourmet experience — fresh, homemade, and made with so much love. We still talk about how good it was!
