I grew up eating strictly real-deal Mexican food, so I don’t hand out five stars easily. This is without a doubt the best spot in town. Authentic flavor, zero shortcuts, and pure soul in every dish. If you know good Mex food, you know this place is the real thing. I am notoriously hard to impress when it comes to Mexican cuisine!

Upscale Mexican Food thats is fantastic. I started off tasting empanadas. They were so good I took an order of them home. Then came fajatas cooked perfectly, served on a sizzling plate, with home made tortillas. We also tried the Acapulco Seafood chili relleno, Wow that was an amazing dish, best chili rellenos I have ever had the pleasure of crossing my lips. A great little restaurant a true treat of culinary excellence.

I have been going to this neighborhood restaurant for 20 plus years as soon as this place opened up, became my favorite. But it all changed about 5 years ago. I used to come for business lunches, bring friends and family. What changed is the quality of food, and quantity both went down and prices went up which is understandable as food cost have gone up. This review is not as much as for public it is for the owners also. You order food, spend about $25-$30 for 1 person’s meal and all you get is one tiny salsa and food quality is very inconsistent. I had brought this to owner’s attention and their answer rudely is food cost have gone up. Here is the picture of my most recent order to go. This is 3 chicken enchiladas meal. From this point on I have decided to stop coming here, and found a better place to satisfy my Mexican food craving. Papi’s thank you for doing business with you.
