Gabe was my server and he was great — quick, friendly, and actually gave me some solid recommendations. I ended up going with the Mexican corn, Thai Brussels sprouts, the side salad with miso dressing, and the kimchi fried rice. Everything was $6-8, which felt reasonable, especially since the Brussels sprouts portion was actually pretty generous. Honestly you could split that one or just make it your whole meal.

As far as flavor goes, the menu overall leans pretty mild. The Brussels sprouts (lime and shallot) had great texture — tender but still had a bite, not mushy and not too crunchy — but the flavor itself was kind of flat and needed salt. I’d give those a 6/10.

The Mexican corn was a letdown for me. It’s off the cob but you can tell it was boiled, and there was some watery-ness in the dish that just wasn’t appealing. Chipotle mayo on top was fine but I really missed the tajín you usually get on street corn. Call me a traditionalist, but this one’s a 3/10.

Kimchi fried rice got the egg on top, which you should always do unless you’re vegan. The rice wasn’t dried out enough before they fried it, so it came out mushy instead of that crispy fried rice texture you want. Flavor-wise it had good kimchi, green onion, sriracha mayo, decent amount of kick but could’ve used more spice. Texture really matters here and it fell short, so I’m giving it a 6/10. Also this barely feels like a “side” at $8 it’s basically a filling meal if you’re into kimchi.

Now the side salad with miso dressing — this one I really loved. Dressing was creamy and well balanced, edamame gave it a nice crunch, mushrooms were a surprise I wasn’t expecting but enjoyed, and the lettuce mix with bean sprouts on top was fresh and crisp. Great flavor, great texture, cool and refreshing. 8.5/10 easy.

Service though — genuinely fantastic. Every single person who brought food to my table was warm, checked in, made sure I was good. Solid 10/10 and honestly this place should be way busier than it was tonight.

Overall, I’d recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. I went fully vegetarian this time so I can’t personally vouch for the fish, but I’ve heard really good things.

A very good experience there with extremely high quality food for very low prices. It’s still kind of feels like a chain restaurant although everything so far seems quite good The location is good although parking can be a slight challenge.

We had a great experience today. All dishes served fast, fresh and beautiful. Service was exceptional as well. Chirashi is always my go to.

Most our items were great, the chirashi was big and delicious. My wife’s calamari looked great. The beers were huge. But then ordered a large togo bag of chips and guac we could not eat there because we were out of time, definitely not worth $14. But the overall visit was positive.
