We made a reservation 2 weeks in advance of a double birthday celebration that required we put down a credit card. 48 hours prior to our reservation we received an email stating our reservation was cancelled for an event they were hosting! It was a holiday weekend and we scrambled to find anything fun and affordable. Unfortunately we ended up having a not very good meal. I am really upset about how we were treated. I won’t be going there again.

I went to Nido’s to host our welcome party for our wedding guests, who were flying in from NJ.
WOW- all of our guests had so much fun and were raving about the food and drinks!
I was allowed to use my own playlist for music, and we rented out the plaza area! It was so beautiful and fun- they even decorated with some flowers in vases.
The server was so kind and outstanding.
I will definitely be back!

The chilaquiles were some of the best I’ve ever had. We also for the chips and queso and shrimp ceviche which were both very good. Such a fun spot. There’s a parking lot across the street for $5.

Great food. Every food item is made in house & the quality shows this. Taste is excellent. Nice atmosphere of colors, plants, & flags. Location sucks. Difficult parking (& on Monday’s it’s apparently closed; when I called the restaurant for clarification no one answered). It is near the marina, which is pretty, but everything outside the restaurant is very…Oakland.

Must order the Birria Quesadilla!! The lively atmosphere and unique outside vibe add to a fun evening out.
To be fair this is my re-posted review from 4 years ago. I copied it before closing my other account:
Avoid the crab empanada wasn’t bad but not noteworthy. Avoid the tres leches cake, it was not edible, 3 of us took a bite and all agreed it tasted like a fridge and the contents inside a fridge.
