One star – A toxic and unsafe environment
I had a disturbing experience at this bar that I feel others should be aware of. What started as a casual evening turned into an unsafe situation due to the unprofessional behavior of the bartender and her entourage.
Apparently, the bartender’s boyfriend — who, as I later learned, is freshly out of prison — spends most of his time sitting at the bar chatting with patrons. He struck up a conversation with me, which I assumed was innocent and mutual. However, instead of handling any discomfort like a professional or mature adult, the bartender became visibly upset and chose to address her personal insecurities by having one of her aggressive, erratic friends confront me.
Things escalated quickly. I was asked to leave without cause, and outside, I was physically assaulted by this same friend — someone clearly unstable and not associated with the bar in any official capacity. At no point did staff attempt to de-escalate the situation or ensure anyone’s safety.
This place feels more like a personal drama zone than a business, and it’s dangerous when personal jealousy and poor boundaries spill over into how customers are treated. If you’re a woman, especially one who draws attention, I’d advise you to steer clear. They don’t use diplomacy — they use intimidation.
Not a place I’ll ever return to.

Service is great ! Atmosphere is a bit iffy. Pool table was not being used people were out smoking pot. I did the respectful thing and asked if they were using it. I received yes and no and was also offered a puff which I do not partake in. So I used typical bar rules which are no money on table nor racked balls table is open. Specifically A bar fly in tie die had something to say when there really shouldn’t have been. Myself having no patience with people who do not deserve such had to step out. I missed paying my tab in the process yet did come back pay 20-25 minutes later once I realized my mistake. This gives the high service stars. The tri tip sandwich ( cut with the grain) was tougher and saltier than I was due to mouths and having my picture by someone in a leather coat. In the future turn the flash off.. I have a few of my own but this one gives the specific Parton’s a bit of transparency . The end result is an even 4 stars. I recommend “premade” spirits and I do not recommend the food.

I went to Moonshiners Saloon for the first time to hear a band called Heirloom. The band was fantastic and the venue well suited. They have a large dance floor and a open space so you don’t feel crowded. The staff was friendly and the guests seem like many of them are regular. For me it was a good place to have a good brew and hear some great music.

It’s a new bar, and it’s so awesome inside. The bartenders are cool, helpful, sweet, and so nice. I’ve been here 2 times before the grand opening and the experience is wonderful. The glasses are Mason jars, and they’re so damn cute. Outside patio is nice, you can smoke or play pool. The place is brand new, and it’s nice place to hang with friends.
