Insanely good & authentic Mexico City-style street food in a cozy restaurant setting. A wide variety of Tortas, Huaraches, Alambres, Tacos, etc. The meat flavors here are out of this world! I have tried a wide range of meats here including their Cabeza, and I can see why it is so hyped, it’s really really good. The green sauce is also wonderfully tangy and refreshing, and the red sauce has a nice kick to it.

I’ve seen some bad reviews about the meat here, like people saying the meat is “pre-bagged asada” which I’ve never ever heard of in my many years of working with restaurant suppliers, and a quick search of supplier databases shows 0 results for etc. If you look at those people’s reviews they almost entirely hate Mexican food in general, ignore them and come see for yourself just how good this place is!

07.07.26 1pm Lunch with my daughter and grandpuppy.

    Asada dish was delicious.

Tacos asada y pastor were also good but not as tasty as the asada dish.

07.07.26 1pm Mom and I had lunch here as reviews were good and this place is right across Valley Health Center Bascom Pavilion E. You can see the restaurant from dad’s room!

This restaurant’s food was extremely fresh, not oily, not greasy or sloppy, and very well balanced in seasoning and flavors. Having only slept for 3 hrs I could barely taste the food. Mom said the Asada (thin multi large pieces of steak) plate w.Mexican rice, refried beans, flour tortillas, grilled onions, poblano peppers, and a lettuce tomato salad plus the asada + pastor tacos (came w.thick lime wedges, grilled onions, fresh cucumber & radish slices) were very good, and she doesn’t love Mexican food. Their green sauce was better than the red and wasn’t overpowering flavorwise.

Service was fine. You order and prepay at the register, they give you a number to place on your table, then they bring you your order.

For a taqueria it’s very good. Unfortunately for the pescado choices it’s only basically shrimp or some grilled fish. No fish tacos. And no salsa or pico de gallo.

Restaurant is very clean, all sauce bottles, tables, etc, are clean. They were playing World Cup game Switzerland vs Columbia, with Switzerland advancing to quarterfinals in penalty kicks.

Best tacos al pastor in the bay! Ate them too fast had to order more. Free chips and salsa too. They also didn’t ask for tips when you pay with card, even though the food is so good they deserve it

If you’re craving Mexican cuisine, this place is a solid option. Of the three locations I’ve visited, this one stands out as the best and most spacious. It offers more accessible parking and better lighting, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

On this occasion, I ordered a vegetarian burrito and requested to add an egg (which they accommodated without any issue) to have a vegetarian “breakfast burrito. ” My friend ordered a pambazo, and as you can see in the photo, you will not go hungry.

The portions are generous, the prices are very affordable, and the dishes I’ve tried have always been well-seasoned. It’s an added bonus that they provide two bottles of homemade sauces—one green and one red.
