it’s all in the name. it is the Magic of Mendocino. best place I have ever camped. the lake is beautiful and literally surrounded by the most beautiful nature around. try it, you’ll like it.
Two motorcycle riders passing through for a night we needed a place to camp in a pinch and we were very happy with the hot showers and beautiful property to walk around.
I regret not getting a chance to take some of the boats out on a lake, as it looks like it’s a wonderful way to spend a weekend
Mendocino Magic’s reflective lake and winding trails lead you to an apex overlooking the water, where you can feel the presence of something greater at work. You begin to see how the current stewards are preserving the past for the present and the future. As echoed in the spirit of Expedition 33, it’s “for those that came after,” much like the selfless legacy of the Greek proverb: “A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.”
Great campground and frankly amazing service. I got in later in the evening, and after calling the campground line, was quickly helped into my campsite. Above and beyond type of service, and a really beautiful slice of nature to boot. Great facilities – the shower was fantastic – and repeating myself for effect, a really service-oriented staff. Would go again, and perhaps not during a time when the temps dipped into the 30s! So summer. Obviously.
