We had such a wonderful stay at Mendo Bungalow! We planned on only staying one night but then extended to two because of how great our room was. We went with our dog and she had a blast as well. We loved drinking our coffee outside watching the birds and listening to sounds of the ocean in the morning, or playing cards while watching the sunset. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, would highly recommend, we will definitely be back!
I gave the rooms a 4 only because I feel like the bed could be slightly more comfortable.

Would give this place 10 stars if I could! My husband and I decided last minute to make the 4-hour drive over a holiday weekend because the weather looked beautiful and the room rates seemed reasonable.
When we arrived to check in, I realized I had accidentally booked the reservation for 2027 instead of 2026. Of course, since it was a holiday weekend, there were no rooms available anywhere. We had arranged for a babysitter and pet sitter just to enjoy one night away, and we were honestly preparing to turn around and drive the four hours back home.
The wonderful woman at the front desk was incredibly kind and understanding. She had one room she kept off-market for reservation emergencies, but normally it was out of our budget. She ended up offering it to us at a huge discount, and I can’t thank her enough.
The room was absolutely beautiful — amazing shower, soaking tub, fireplace, and an ocean view. It ended up being the perfect getaway we desperately needed.
We will definitely be returning visitors… and next time I’ll definitely double-check the year before booking!

I loved this place!!! Bed was comfy, tub was amazing, views were gorgeous, nespresso pot had yummy coffee, DOG FRIENDLY! I’ve already recommended this place to a bunch of friends and thought it needed a public great reviews. My fiancé, dog and I will definitely be back!

Our family of three needed a quick overnight place to stay. Booked this place last minute and it did not disappoint. Beds were SUPER comfy, place was decorated cute and current. Nice big shower and the property was very well landscaped. Close to town to eat at all the cute restaurants.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights and had an absolutely lovely stay. The bed was comfortable, room very clean & tastefully decorated. Our room also had a dream sized soaking tub which was one of the highlights for me. We loved drinking coffee and reading books outside on the patio overlooking the water. The hotel is perfectly located minutes from town, perched up on a hill overlooking the ocean. The grounds are peaceful and surrounded by lush trees. Our interactions with the front desk lady and cleaning staff were very pleasant and welcoming. We will definitely be back!
