⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Fantastic Farm-to-Table Experience at Luna!
If you’re looking for vibrant flavors and high-quality, clean ingredients, Luna Mexican Kitchen at The Pruneyard is an absolute must-visit. The patio seating provides a relaxed, breezy atmosphere that is perfect for a weekend lunch or a sunny evening dinner.
The Guacamole:to say it’s fresh is an understatement. As seen in, it comes beautifully presented in a heavy stone molcajete, topped with fresh cilantro, a pinch of coarse sea salt, a lime wedge, and a stunning slice of watermelon radish. Paired with their crispy, thick-cut house tortilla chips, it’s the perfect way to kick off the meal.
The Elote:The fire-roasted whole corn on the cob is a spectacular showstopper. It is served standing up with the husk intricately braided, coated in queso fresco and ground chile, and elegantly plated alongside an ancho lime aioli drizzle. The smoky, charred flavor balances beautifully with the creamy, tangy sauce.
Cantarito Cocktail:To drink, we enjoyed a refreshing cocktail served in a traditional clay jarrito pot. Rimmed with salt and garnished with fresh slices of orange and grapefruit, it’s incredibly refreshing and fits the rustic, authentic vibe perfectly.
Luna’s commitment to avoiding seed oils and keeping things scratch-made truly shines through in the cleanliness and depth of the flavors. Between the stellar food presentation, top-tier ingredients, and great outdoor ambiance, I will definitely be back!

One of the few restaurants that actually deserve the wait and hype. It’s better than 99% of the Mexican restaurants in *Mexico*, based on my limited samples from Mexico City, Cancun, and Puerto Vallarta, let alone those in the US. The complementary chips were spectacularly hot and crunchy. The charred sweet potato was unbelievably good! The mole enchilada was on point as well. The margarita was strong. What more can you want? Plus, as everyone says, the service and hospitality is genuine, above and beyond. I’ll be a regular now.

We went out for a relaxing evening.
Only got a salad, the steak was well done like I asked.
Need to try something different next time I go.
Love the where the restaurant is. Wanted to take more pictures but it was a full evening.
Enjoyed it Definitely recommend

Came here on a Thursday night for dinner. No reservations are available as far as I know. We waited about 45 minutes, but they text you when your table is ready, which makes it manageable.
The inside is dimly lit with a fun and buzzy vibe.
We got the guacamole as the starter. Honestly one of the best I’ve had. It was creamy, salty, and the tortilla chips had this nice grainy texture that worked really well with it.
For the main, got the salmon tacos. Good portion of salmon. The sauce was salty with a slight sour taste. Nothing too notable, but was great. Came with a side of beans.
Finished with the churros. Exactly what you’d expect a churro to be like.
Everything tasted really fresh. Staff was super friendly and genuinely helpful with the menu.

We had a good experience dining at Luna on Saturday night. Although it was very busy with a one-hour wait, the text-based waitlist made it easy to explore nearby shops while we waited. The restaurant had a nice ambiance, the service was good, and prices were reasonable.
The Food:
– Chips & Green Salsa (5/5): These were complimentary and had a delicious spicy flavor.
– Queso Flameado (3/5): Bit underwhelming. The cheese consistency was much thicker than we expected. But tortillas that came with it were great.
– Enchiladas El Vegan & Chile Relleno De Calabacitas (4/5): both decent choices with good flavors
