If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food done right, Los Costeños Restaurant absolutely delivers.
From the moment the plate hits the table, you know you’re in for something special. The sizzling fajitas come out hot and packed with flavor—perfectly cooked steak with fresh peppers and onions that taste like they came straight off the grill. No shortcuts, just real, quality food.
The rice and beans are on point—fluffy, well-seasoned rice and creamy beans topped with melted cheese. The guacamole and pico de gallo are fresh, vibrant, and made the way they should be. Every bite feels authentic.
What really stands out is the consistency and portion size—you’re getting a full plate that actually satisfies, not just looks good.
If you’re in Corning and want real Mexican food that hits every time, this is the spot. Definitely one of those places you keep coming back to.

Delicious food. We stop here when we pass thru Corning. Superb Chili Rellenos made there (not canned or pkg’d frozen). Carne Asada was also perfectly cooked and tasty.
Pleasant atmosphere in a cozy setting. Servers are attentive. Will keep coming back.

Excellent Tex-Mex (and we are from Texas!). Vegetables in the sizzling fajitas were especially good, as were the margaritas. Tasty tacos and enchiladas, too. My Chilean husband LOVED the music (‘70s and ‘80s Latin classics from Roberto Carlos, Nino Bravo, Julio Iglesias, etc.).
For the owner: wonderful experience. I recommend better lighting outside, so patrons can more easily see your restaurant from the street. Thank you!

Delicious food. I wish I lived closer. The chip salsa were very good. They also bring bean dip with the chips. I had a shredded beef taco, it was very flavorful. The carnitos taco was available good. I topped my meal off with Churros. Yum!
