This place is a gem- no matter if you are RVing, camping or need a room. I wish we had more time but the stay was great and would absolutely return. Clean facilities, peaceful, easy check in, all the amenities you could possible need and NATURE. Spot 13 in the RV park is super private.
Very cute campsite! Quite and quaint setting just off the free way. Has lots of options for kids to play with playgrounds, pool, arcade, and our favorite was walking through the creek. It is slippery and our kids are older, but it was great.
Cozy caboose cars! Dining car food was delicious and the service was excellent! The chef visited the Dining room to chat with the diners to see how we liked his creations.
There are several varieties of train cars to spend an evening in. Depending on the time of year, there may even be evening activities for the family. They were showing a movie out on the lawn this visit.
The train cars are charming and show their age. There’s a bit of history posted on the walls in each one.
During this visit, the car had the old claw tub. It was nice but doesn’t fully drain. I’m not one to take baths, and cast iron can be cold. It did have the hand shower attachment, however. Some come with showers, so look when booking.
Ours had a cupola, and that’s a pleasant place to sit with morning coffee.
I like how the cars subtly bounce beneath your feet, too.
There’s a pool, hot tub, and trails to enjoy on the property as well. Daily meals can be obtained from the on-site dining car.
The only real drawback is the bed. They are old and sagging and in need of replacement.

Very nice campground. The sites were staggered so it felt roomy. The staff were super friendly. Definitely going to go back.
