A Wise
Such a great place to stay while in Mendocino. It’s walking distance to everything, including hiking trails. The service, room, and breakfast with all of the fresh goodies was absolutely wonderful. And also being able to take a long soak at night in the tub was a nice treat.

We really enjoyed every moment of our stay here. The décor is beautiful and has so much character. There was only the nautical room available when we booked, and we ended up loving it. Honestly, the room was even better than the pictures on the website. It felt very peaceful and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The room doesn’t have a microwave or refrigerator, but there is a shared common room where guests can use them. There’s also no TV in the room, which actually was a nice thing for us. We spent more time relaxing together, playing games, and enjoying the outdoor space.
Breakfast is lovely and feels homemade. Everything has a very cozy, organic feel. They also have a beautiful parlor room with a piano, and tea, coffee, hot and cold water are available there anytime for guests.
The owners are truly wonderful people. They are warm, kind, and genuine, and we really appreciated the chance to connect with them during our stay. Overall, it was a very relaxing and memorable stay, and we would definitely come back.

We didn’t expect much. Our booking was last minute — all other places in the town were either unavailable or too expensive. Turned out, we couldn’t have made a better choice. An exceedingly beautiful place, comfortable, quiet, welcoming. we had a wonderful time.

We visit Mendocino every March to commemorate our wedding anniversary, and we always opt to stay here due to the excellent location and outstanding customer service. We also love the complimentary breakfast, and their scones are exceptionally good.
