Great and hopping busy cafe serving excellent Mexican food at decent prices! Tons of construction workers, cyclists and office workers showing how a good Mexican restaurant can be extremely popular! Free water, nice bathroom and decent salsa bar. Service is quick despite being busy!! We had a pork burrito which was very good! Four tables inside and four outside.

I go around trying to find the best breakfast burrito in the area. Not impressed. Not bad. But ive had better. Wayy better.

Jalisco Mexican Grill in Portola is a comfortable place to eat. The food tastes fresh and the plates come out warm. The chips are crunchy and the salsa has good flavor. The tacos have soft tortillas and the meat is cooked well. The burritos are large and filled evenly so every bite tastes the same. The people working there are kind and they check on you without rushing you. The place looks clean and the seating feels relaxed. It is a nice spot to stop for a quiet meal if you want something simple and satisfying.

We love this Mexican grill. Their guacamole with the large chips and the bean paste are very tasty. Great fish tacos and quesabirrias which are flavorful.

Try the fajita quesadilla.
They fry a whole corn tortilla as their chips with bean/chorizo dip.
Lots of sauces to choose from at the sauce counter.
