From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere at Jack’s Restaurant & Bar felt warm and welcoming. The service was attentive without being overbearing, making the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. Everything we ordered came out perfectly prepared and full of flavor, clearly made with care.
The space had a comfortable, lively energy that made it easy to relax and linger over our meal. It’s the kind of place where you leave already thinking about your next visit. I’m glad we stopped in and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in Pleasant Hill.

Awesome restaurant with a great happy hour. We ordered the fried calamari, bacon Mac n cheese, and meatloaf, and they all tasted great. Some of the best calamari I’ve ever had. The food came out very fast after ordering and tasted fresh. Service was friendly and attentive as well. Lots of seating available inside and outside.

Today was Support Local Thursday at Diablo Valley Funeral Home, and Hannah made a great choice—Jack’s Restaurant & Bar for lunch!
The food was absolutely amazing, everything prepared to perfection. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

A bit noisy from my taste and parking was difficult. I really should’ve read reviews first and planned ahead to use the nearby garage. My burger and fries were wonderful.
