When we arrived (June 2026) the place had handwritten “closed” signs on several doors, disorderly lower tables, the gal up at the bar directed us to sit anywhere we could find. So we went back down and eventually found someone less-than-thrilled to clear one of the many dirty tables, reset it and we sat to order.

The server came with a smile (same guy who reset the table) and definitely redeemed his original impression on us. Aa we got him to chat it was revealed they’d had an unexpected party making them unprepared and maybe explaining the general chaos.

Food was fine, nothing to write home about. Dessert was top tier. Prices high but likely appropriate for the area. View from inside was lovely despite the outdoor seating being closed on an evening the weather was perfect for outside.

We had hoped for more seafood options on the menu, but still enjoyed the meal mostly.

This place is clearly overrated in all aspects but the view, that gets the two stars.
Old structure with outdated interior throughout, starting at the second floor by the bar where all the tables, chairs and the bar itself seems like from late 80s, with service, although with the smiles, been extremely delayed with the food delivered and utensils missed to some of us. Bathrooms remained from the days of original structure with old tiles, faucets and urinal. Main floor dining room with the black tablecloth looked a little cozy however it was closed around 4 PM on the Friday night.
Food quality is way out of it, where the menu selections are limited could use some improvements. Beef in the salad was extremely chewy, coconut shrimp missed the coconut and had and was drowned in flour. Crab in the sandwich was too salty and too much mayo. Was left behind untouched without thinking twice. Oh, and one more thing, since this place is out on the water, there is no beer on tap. Canned only.
Overall, at one time show place just to check out and enjoy the view.

If you want to eat and relax near the lake with a nice view, this restaurant is for you!
    Pros:
    1. They bring food quickly
    2. Balanced menu
    3. Polite staff
    4. Clean
    5. Tasty
    Cons:
    1. The pasta with chicken was served too watery. You can see it in my photo.

Had a great time here with our family. They have a pretty good happy hour, lots of drink and food specials! Great hospitality here and you can’t beat the view. Such a nice place to visit. Now the food is just ok and it is pretty pricey for mediocre microwaved fare. $22 for a cheeseburger? And it was dry and just meh. Everything is just served warm, nothing hot and crispy. If they get a better cook or different menu it could be great. But if you’re looking to take a lake break this isn’t too bad a place to pass some time.
