Beautiful historic location with a nice view of the Pacific from the outdoor deck. Meticulous Landscaping added to the relaxed feel of the cottage. Spotlessly clean inside as well. Only problem we couldn’t stay longer
Love this place! Charming historic cottages, gorgeous gardens full of butterflies and hummingbirds, beautiful views! Our 4th time here, will keep coming back!
Really cool house on the coast. The space was restored with detail. Very classy. Old details and fixtures in this historic house. The hot tub, the ocean views, comfortable furniture, unique rooms – very clean and elegant. The owners donated some rooms for filmmakers to stay during the Arena Theater Shorts Film Festival. Thank you for supporting the arts! We’re looking forward to coming back.
Our stay at the Cypress House was amazing. It was an opportunity to get three families and three generations together in a gorgeous location. You know you’ve found the perfect location when an ocean sunset greets your arrival.
Not only did we enjoy our time at the house, we also had the opportunity to visit the Point Arena lighthouse, stroll through “downtown”, and hang around the local pier. Since we all brought food for our stay, we really didn’t get a chance to try much locally. However, we can definitely recommend the Pier Place clam chowder and Cove Coffee brews.
Another plus? The dog friendliness. That was an important factor in our choosing this location.
We’re definitely going to go back. 5 stars on everything. Thanks Mike, Frankie, and Eric!
This is my second time staying at Station 314. The first time was at the large Coast Guard house, and this time was the Surfman’s cottage. I was equally impressed with the smaller house, and it was so nicely decorated and appointed. The bed and linens were great and very comfortable, and the rest of the house was perfect. My only regret was that I wasn’t able to stay longer.
