Good deals during games and happy hour. $6 tap beer, $8 margaritas, $10 mixed drinks. Staff was really friendly and attentive. Carne asada fries seemed expensive at first for $22 but it was a good amount of food, and it was some of the best I’ve had. All drinks we had were pretty good as well, definitely getting your money’s worth of alcohol.

If you’re in downtown San Diego and love Mexican food, Hasta Mañana Cantina is definitely worth checking out.
I ordered the California Burrito, and it did not disappoint. The carne asada was perfectly seasoned, and the burrito was generously stuffed—exactly how I like it. My wife went with the carne asada street tacos, and they were a hit. Each bite was packed with flavor.
The chips and salsa were solid, and while the guacamole could’ve used a touch more salt, you can tell it was made fresh. The refried beans were perfectly done and honestly pretty addictive.
To top it all off, we ended with the churros—and wow, easily the best we’ve ever had. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and just the right amount of sweetness.
Friendly, fast service made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Hasta Manaya was so much fun! We were all hungry and didn’t know exactly what we wanted and this place was perfect. Great chips and dips! Everyone loved what they ordered. I ordered the civeche and it was soooo fresh! The music was pretty loud (I get it… The vibes) that’s why atmosphere got 4/5 but service and food was awesome.
The food was great and didn’t try to be too much… If that makes sense. Stop by here after the best padres game. Great place!

Hasta Mañana Cantina was an incredible experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious — the steak tacos were the highlight of the meal, perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. You can really tell they use fresh ingredients and put care into every dish.
The atmosphere was lively and full of great energy, with colorful decor and upbeat music that made the whole dining experience fun and memorable. The staff were also fantastic — friendly, welcoming, and always checking in to make sure everything was perfect.
Whether you’re looking for a casual dinner, drinks with friends, or a spot to enjoy authentic Mexican food in a vibrant setting, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area!

First, quality food is served here. This is no one of those hit or miss in the gas lamp. Food is crafted and pack with flavor. The owner is not improvising. I loved the details, portion sizes and preparation. Everything we ordered was 4 to 5 stars. The place is nice with in-out door seating. Competitive prices for the area. 4 stars for the slow“ service. Anastasia was on top of her game, but it was obviously too many people for one server. I would def recommend it and I am coming back for more.
