My boyfriend and I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Harmony at Lake County. Chef Jevgenija and her wife, Mara, truly made our evening so special and memorable.

My boyfriend discovered this restaurant while planning our Memorial Day weekend getaway, and Harmony was one of the top search results we came across. After reading the amazing Google reviews, we decided to give it a try — and it absolutely did not disappoint.

Upon arriving, Mara warmly greeted us at the door, showed us their beautiful wine cellar, and poured us bubbly before we headed upstairs. She shared the history of the property and introduced some of the special wines they’ve collected from around the world, which made the experience feel incredibly personal and thoughtful.

Once all the guests arrived, we were brought upstairs to a beautifully intimate dining space centered around one communal table that seats only up to 10 guests. During our dinner, there were 8 of us in total, and it created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We chatted, got to know one another, and enjoyed hearing Mara explain each wine and course as they were served.

The experience included a 7-course meal featuring 2 main dishes and 1 dessert, along with complimentary coffee or tea to finish the evening. My boyfriend and I ordered one wine pairing and one mocktail pairing, and every pairing was so thoughtfully selected and complemented the dishes beautifully. You can truly tell how much care and intention Chef Jevgenija puts into every course.

Overall, the experience was exceptional. I would honestly rank this among some of the best Michelin-star-level dining experiences I’ve ever had. The warmth, ambiance, hospitality, and every single course were phenomenal.

My daughter and I had a truly remarkable experience at Harmony, celebrating her 16th birthday.

Mara and Chef Jevgenija began the evening by warmly inviting us into their wine cellar and offering a glass of sparkling wine or mocktail.

After enjoying the beverage and visiting with Mara, Jevgenija and the other guests, we moved to the dining room. Through the remainder of the night, we enjoyed a seven-course dinner (mine paired with wine and my daughter’s paired with mocktails) that is nothing like I’ve ever experienced before.

I am a bit particular about exploring new foods, particularly seafood so I was a little nervous about being served something that I would ordinarily shy away from. But the presentation of the dishes and the flavors were so perfect, this never came close to happening. I savored every bit of my seven-course meal, as did my daughter.

Mara and Chef Jevgenija are fun and easy to chat with and we ended the night satisfied by so many different dishes and flavors and the feeling of new friendships. I highly recommend this experience and am so excited that Lake County has this gem to offer. We have friends from Sonoma who are looking forward to sharing this experience with us, in the Fall.

This seven-course experience was something I had never had the pleasure of doing before, and it exceeded every expectation. We chose the wine pairing and were served seven beautifully curated wines — both red and white — each thoughtfully matched to its course. One standout was a wine from Slovenia, another first for me.
The service was outstanding. Mara’s storytelling and detailed explanations about each wine added so much depth to the evening. Learning how each pairing complemented the food made the experience feel even more special and immersive.
Chef Jevgenija is incredibly talented, and you can truly see and feel her love for food in every dish she creates. Each course was artfully presented and layered with flavor, but the Quail & Poulet Rouge with Wild Mushrooms and Jerusalem Artichoke was absolutely unforgettable — a standout among an already extraordinary menu.
