On a business trip and stumbled upon Han Sang amongst a sea of Chinese restaurants. People often think Korean food is BBQ but I grew up on soups and stews so Han Sang was comfort food for me. Food was very good…really hit the spot after a day of travel. Service was also friendly and modern decor.

Korean family run restaurant with authentic Korean dishes their lunch menu has good value $15 for the cold noodle and spicy noodle $20 for the spicy tofu and $23 for the galbi tang. They also provided ban chan like Kim chi, radish and fish cake!

2026 update: Another great meal at Han Sang. We had the beef short ribs w/extra meat plus cheese $100 and tofu soup $25 again. This time, we wanted to try the braised pork with vegetables $58. Service was awesome. The food tasted great. No wait on a Tuesday evening at 6pm.
Original review: We came to Han Sang for their galbi jjim (braised beef short ribs w/extra meat, plus cheese $100.) The restaurant was full at around 6:30pm on Thursday. The galbi jjim dish was enough for four people. The short ribs was served with the bone. We tried to use the scissors to cut the meat ourselves and failed hard. The Thai waitress was nice enough to do it for us when she saw us struggling. The short ribs were delicious. Moist, soft and full of flavor. The secret might be that it was served piping hot on an iron skillet mixed with Japanese pumpkin (kabocha), radish, rice cakes, glass noodles and green onions. For our appetizer, we had the tofu soup with bits of beef rib and pork belly ($25.) This was also delicious. Good job everyone at Han Sang.

This place is my go-to whenever I’m craving some light soup or galbijim. Their soups are simple but delicious, comforting and perfect for a cold day. Beyond that, their galbijim is on par with the popular Daeho, making it an excellent choice for groups. It’s super flavorful, tender, and filling, so it’s great for sharing and enjoying a hearty meal with friends or family. The combination of comforting soups and standout galbijim keeps me coming back again and again.
